Parkour and freerunning are actually 2 different things, since parkour is getting as fast from 1 place to the other but freerunning is just doing flips and looking cool (A)

Yes I know all about that petty argument, in a reality it's people arguing over sematics. It's all movement, all I'm saying this entire showreel was only flips, there were no other movements except two or three kongs and some pres. I want more than run here do a flip then run over here and do a flip you know? Besides 4 and a half minutes of flips gets old really fast. I'm probally gonna get a lot of heat from posting this but oh well.

Yes you're right BUT look at the title, it says freerunning so you could expect there are only flips in this video, because that the main thing in Freerunning.

Flips are not the only only thing in free-running... I consider myself a freerunner, yes I do flips but they do not make up my entire repitoire of tricks. There are the parkour aspects and the "new" style of flow from people like Danny, Oleg, Sascha, and Bama.

your the reason there are so many misconceptions, free running is an art of expression, like breakdancing, involving movements to express oneself as he/she desires. parkour is the act of staying fit through a style of movement involving getting from point a to point b as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Movement is movement, its ridiculous trying to classify something like this.

and how is it more tricking if the fundamentals are the same, because according to most mislead people 'freerunning' involves a lot of the movements that Parkour does. and David Belle was popping out back somersault years ago and still calling it Parkour.
