Segovia never smiled while playing. Bream didn't. Joao Gilberto didn't. Sharon Isbin does not. Xiefeu Yang does not. Williams, Parkening, I can't think of one of them who smile while playing. This is a serious piece and a serious student of the guitar is playing it.
