  • Pete is best with the beard, and angry.

  • os melhores do rock!!!!!!!!!

  • from 3:26 to the end is the way the song was meant to be played and heard, with keith killin it on the drums as usual, and just pure fucking rock by the greatest band ever!!!

  • Daltrey is and still will be the best frontman who ever walk the earth

  • great song

  • I????????

  • Great version BUT, I was disappointed to find out just now on The Old Grey Whistle Test on BBC4 that they were miming the whole thing. Twas a backing track and not live at all. Shame. Great song though.

  • @Amused54321 They weren't miming the whole thing - the backing track was pre-recorded but the vocals were live. Check out the sleeve notes to the BBC Sessions album.

  • @Amused54321 Sigh. It's not easy to lug around an ARP 2600 and get it to play along with the rest of the band.

  • at 3:26 or so the backing tape for moonies drums goes off and you canhear the REAL MOON!!!

  • the who-hardest workin guys in rock, EVER.

  • Moonie is way out there man....

  • greatest rythym section in rock and roll rip john and keith.

  • Hey Roger, feel line gettin' nosy?

  • for my money, this song is the finest musical composition that was ever created. not just because it was about the internet befroe it was born, but just all the elements are blended together to perfection. im sorry, but if you cant feel this song you probably dont have a pulse.

  • @broadwayjoe412 honestly, i think this song got my high once. seriously

  • great song but not live ! why else can we hear an acoustic guitar strumming in the background ? sad - but great song :D

  • @kotedo The backing track is prerecorded, yes, but the vocals are live.

  • haha wow keith moon is great.

  • The mighty ol' WHO, "the most horrible band in the world" was indeed the greatest rock n' roll band of them all. "Long Live Rock" forever and Long Live... THE WHO.

  • Damn, that is just an amazing performance of one my favorites

  • That maniac Keith Moon, didnt even have a hit-hat set. GOD I loved his drumming! Original to say the least.

  • you can tell Keith Moon didn't like to mime to a pre-recorded performance

  • at what point do we lose control?

  • They were fucking cool...

  • Traveling twice as fast as on any freeway!

  • My sweetie has the moves...now I wish he'd put them on me!

  • the relay= world wide web?

    eerie preminition? me thinks so.

fight teh good fight meh friends!

  • i sjtu bought the who raities volume 2 on vinyl and it has this hidden gem on it. great song

  • Listen to that Bass man.

We are blessed that we know this song, most don't.

Saw Moony many times, God Bless.

Long Live Rock, or as the man says Pass it on !

  • Mwahahahaha...it was impossible for me to look at any other member of The Who when Keith was playing with them...what a genius!

A bright light in rock went out when he died.

  • Oh, HELL yes!! My favorite Who song. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Keith man......fucking grade A lunatic, pure and easy.

  • Makes me mad this isn't on more greatest hits collections. The Who need a pure singles collection akin to the Beatles' Past Masters collections

  • Great song..even if they are miming. Check out the incredible 2000 performance in the 'related' section.

  • sad ,it's play back.

  • hahahaha Keith what a legend that man is lol

  • That was better than #21. Very good riff, very good song.

  • #21? wats that?

  • #21 on the charts

  • what's number 21 today?

at least music like this could make the charts then. this can't even exist today... it's amazing to hear what people today think is good...

  • well today MTV and things like that force god awful music down our throats so dont ever expect anyband that is not rap or light rock to be in the charts today, you will never see bands lik KISS and The Who in the charts ever again

  • hhmmmm, have i mentioned the relevance of yesterdays tunes towards tomorrow yet?

    so much non-violent angst....oh ya! poil-hyahm!!!

  • ...pass it forward...

  • GOD I LOVE WATCHING Keith Moon in the video. He looks so sexy acting all mean and nasty! He has his fake tooth out! LOVE IT!

  • I just discovered this song /omfg. I grew up in the 60's and somehow overlooked it.. what? How did that happen? I dunno, but image having some new WHO tunes like I do?

What guitar work, this kicks ass on anything out today.

  • great song

  • Roger's hair is so awesome in this clip. And he's singing the hell out of Relay

  • @Ari721 Who amongst us wanted to run their hands through and/or smell it?

  • A song about the internet from the 70's! What more could you ask for?

The Who are simply the greatest band ever!

  • great song but another underachiever chartwise only no.21 in 72. Deserved alot better.

  • Really? What was in the top 20?

  • One of my all time favorite Who songs next to 'The Seeker' ! LOVE IT!

  • sorry, definately not a moderne. But it's got a thunderbird head, that's crazy.

  • What in the hell is john entwistle playing? is it one of those crazy fender ones made specifically for him? It almost looks like a "gibson moderne" but I dont know if they made a bass version of that. Anything? Anyone?

  • MOON・・最高っす

  • Moon is fun to watch. I love him.

This is a great song too.

  • Nope, he looks like a tiger.

  • what a song

  • better singer than any other band like razorlight or arctic monkeys

  • @ashleylewis15 And a gazillion times more gorgeous than vermin like Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp!

  • sexy as hell! (thanks)
