i was at this show and saw them at the uno for the same tour... depeche mode were awesome , primal sceam was awesome as hell. i met them in pensecola for the violator tour... dane , martin, alan , fletch and the president of sire records howie klien... super nice people and very down to earth... i will remember that day forever....
ooooh man,it makes me really so sad to see them(in speciel Dave)in a mood like this....he tries everything to do a good performance,but.....it doesn´t work at the end:(...everybody can see that he is too tired for all.Thank god, everything changed and he is fine today...
christ i can't watch him so fucked up. The funny thing was when we met I had to shoot up just before going back stage...keep in mind i was 15 years old, and i was meeting God. And God was a junkie!!! Scarey ass shit, we almost lost him, and the cat came back...
I think Andrew Fletcher had pulled out of the Tour prior to these Shows. Apparently he'd had enough of what was going on. I read that whole tour was very memorable... for all the wrong reasons. The Performances look great though.
Wow. So disturbing. Dave has no idea where he is or what he's doing. He's completely lost himself in the drugs and that enormous, almost religious noise.
I guess this is why they play an acoustic version of this song nowadays.
god dave is so completely wasted, but yet his voice comes off so intense and powerful. i love this song...maybe even one of my fav DM songs.

not many bands recover from such harsh circumstances, and dave gahan has certainly turned it all around now.
the stuff they did between 1992 and 1993 was phenomenal.
a truly great band, and deserve more recognition in the UK for damn sure.
Legends.... the best electro-rock band the world is ever likely to see.

@macsmurf78 fail this is not rock, it s more near to industrial electro, stop messing caviar like this with crap like rock

i think its a fantasic and emotional performance, even in that state he sounds brilliant, he gives it his all!

I can sense the depression of the band.
This is actually really scary to watch.
IMO during this era they made their best album though.
I guess being a god is just suffocating.
