His pronunciation is good but not perfect. For example when he says 睡觉了, he doesn't pronounce 觉 correctly. I don't think it's wise to idiolise his Chinese this way, I've met plenty of foreigners during my time in China who speak Chinese just as well as he can. In fact Chinese is probably one of the easiest languages that you can pick to master of all world languages. This is coming from a person who speaks it fluently btw.
yes i did notice the thing with the accent too. i have been learning mandarin since i started uni in september and i need to start putting more effort into it
You are right. Sometimes his English contains typical Chinese accent (esp. Bejing accent). His Chinese is too well, and he might forget his mother tonge, English.

Well, Nicole Kidman's accent is pretty americanised because she lives and speaks it as well. It goes for anyone.

He was born in Ottawa. He's Canadian, his Chinese is just affecting his English. It's pretty funny.
