Putting the speed3's motor in an MX-5 would be STUPID and hurt the MX-5's perfect weight distribution. The car is plenty quick with it's N/A 2.0l 167hp because it weighs only ~2480lbs.
The MX-5 is the best car to drive south of 45-50K easily IMO. I'm buying one next year (sept / oct)
The last thing the new MX-5 is more power..
