I remember as a kid (15 years old) this is one of the songs of that time I loved hearing. Of course, not because I had a little girlfriend or something, R&B radio DJ's played the blues back then in heavy rotation so this is the type of music we always heard.

you can tell a Willie Mitchell production, he did production toward the end of O.V. Wright career and you can hear the Mitchell sound. A great producer of the first order. and Syl is a bad man, back in the day there were so many great performers. I mean the numbers are staggering fortunatley Youtube is a great vehicle. too bad it wasn't around when these Giants were doing there thing that would have received the recognition they so deserve.
