For those of you who are trying to spot all seven cop cars in the video, here's a hint: There's one just beyond our turn onto the Foothills Parkway near the end of the video.

Thanks Cristine...all the times we've done the Tail, we've never gone through Robbinsville. I know there is a large Harley place in Pigeon Forge but don't know if they rent bikes there.

As I recall we were doing the speed limit...that's why you see us pull over a couple of times to let the bikers zoom on past. Out of the seven cops we saw, only was writing a ticket...and it was for a car, near the end of the Tail.

Deal's Gap is a motel as you can maybe see in the movie and the photos at above photo link ...don't know if they hire out bikes. Otherwise, you are probably 30 plus miles from anywhere else to stay....maybe Townsend on the other side of the Foothills Parkway. It IS a great road.

Actually, there are places in Robbinsville that are not that far away. Iron Horse is not that far away down Hwy 28.
