Its a sport coupe... it's made for performance. If they made it for comfort, it would'nt have a cheap ass soft top. And yes, a 30 year old in a porsche is about typical. A porsche is what people buy when they want a car to impress, but dot have enough sense to get something with some uniquity. Again, just my opinion. No need to name call.

I'm sure this car looks Awesome in person, but the front end looks like it doesn't belong. Maybe because the yellow turn signals on the headlights line up with the vents in the bumper and give it a strange line shape. I think the clear headlights will help make it look cleaner/more natural. Other then that, I love this car and my 1999 986 too! ;-) PCA NY

The fact Porsches still look similar over all these years is what makes them Porsches (if it ain't broke...). As for not being able to spot the differences, you obviously haven't seen many Porsches. The fact that Porsche has kept a commonality in their design language all these years and still are able to stay current in the marketplace as well as setting the performance standard, is a testament to the success of their designs.

@fasoho The reason that porches stay current in the marketplace is because overaged douches keep buying them to try to impress. Only a tool would own a porsche. They haven't set ANY performance standards since the 911, which wasn't even a standard, being an inferior flat 6. They all really do look the same, if you put a gun to my head i would tell you which model it was. At one glance you can tell a gto judge, or a mustang. Porche stood out in the 60s, and are now just tools to look impressive.

these are the original caymen vents but the whole rear with the side is a kit with caymen vent inserts and 6" wider

I've yet to see a body kit (from Techart, Ruf, etc...) that makes a Porsche look better than the factory can (this is the only manufacturer I'd say this about, except perhaps Ferrari). Wheels, maybe, but body kit never.

no, they are not. the rear rims are supposed to be wider, not larger. the stock on his car is 17". by going to the 19x11 he required a widebody kit, however, all boxsters naturally have staggered wheel set up in width, not height.

you can retain your opinion on the front bumper cover, that is simply your choice of style...however, if he didn't add someting with a front splitter, the wheels would have looked dumb...so he had to bring the entire package to make it look right.

with the "19 by 11" you have to really be careful not to hit pot holes or bumps hard since you have more wheel then tire

Looks like you spent a lot of time and money turning your 986 into half GT2 half 987. I guess the only thing left is to change the front and read lights to get rid of the eggsplat amber and drop a crate 3.5L in. Pretty sweet though.
