  • I love how at 3:30 it says Thanks for Watching!

    Then it repeats

  • hey! david and christopher have different ones >^<

  • i'm so glad they stopped including the doctor's face every time...

  • 1:41 sounds like fuking cheesy 1969 disco funky music.

  • It's strange how high quality the 1960's version is.

  • 0:11 Doctofz Oho XD

  • I'm glad they got rid of the old "floaty head" thing. It's weird.

  • it looks like i got high

    on the old 60s ones

  • what's the one at 1.41?

  • @HimeeAndTheAwesomes

it's Peter Davison's theme. My fave theme and doctor!

  • The first three openings were actually a bit frightening. See that late at night would make for some spectacular nightmares...

  • I especially love how they gradually get more powerful and expressive.

  • some of the intros look too much like pinball machines lol

  • 3rd doc looks like a old woman

  • omg... the graphics... my eyes...

  • This is accually the longest running sci-fi show. (says in genisis world records 2010)

  • @gir42399: And the most popular, apparently.

  • You'll always know your favorite doctor...

  • My grandads friend is dick mills (one of the creators of the soundtrack)

  • I have to say, I prefer the newer ones. They make me feel adventurous. XD

  • God i wanna download this on my iPod lol

  • i get chills every time i hear that theme song. what an amazing show.

  • 1:30 to 1:55 is my all time favorite.

  • oh how technology, music and graphics advances over the years

  • Honestly was gutted when the matt smith intro didnt come on haha

  • In remembrance of Elizabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith) Dieing of cancer at the age of 63yrs who was the companion of Tom -Baker and appeared in other Doctor Who Episodes

  • Uh Hum @DoctorWhoFan63 Ur Wrong Christopher Eccleston And David Tennant Openings Are Different :P Chris's Goes Bong De Bong Like 1st To 9th And The 10th Go Bump Bump Bump Bump So There:P

  • esto es fantastico... gracias men te pasaste al subirlo :D

soy un fanatico de Doctor Who, gracias a mi padre xDDD

  • you missed a tom baker one

  • @bane264 no he didn't look more carefully

  • The Seventh Doctor's theme is my current favorite

  • u missed out tom bakers 80s theme

  • Wow. The 9TH/10TH are pretty low quality, here. You can't see the time tunnel, have the time.

  • I wish it would show there heads on the tenth and eleventh but they kinda broke that tradition/

  • @TheHardShells The first didn't, and neither did the eighth or ninth.

  • Good job! Well done!!

  • I'm gonna have to watch this in my Psychology class. O_O

  • they changed this years opening because of matt smith :(

  • 1:33 peter and colin's ones kick ass

  • Aha the drastic change at 3:15 hit me xD

  • I dunno if you realised this but the opening you have for the eighth Dr is the one from the movie the actual one for the series is pretty cool and sounds completely different from all the others

  • @braceyfaceanimegurl The eighth was only in the movie, so of course he/she realised.

  • I love the very first few opening seconds of Hartnell's - it's almost like if you watched it for the very first time it would be like - "What the hell is this?"

  • i don't like the new intro i prefer the david tennant intro

  • Very nice one here. Love the Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Tom Baker, and the one Chris and David uses. Just wondering what the Matt Smith going to look like.

  • @Hanssen69 Where are you then? In England we saw it on the 3rd

  • @doctorwhofan63 I live in the states.

  • "(Christopher Eccleston & David Tennant have the same one)"

Not quite - each RTD series had a slightly different intro, even if it was just the music. I quite liked the addition of the extra bar which goes up an octave into the Tennant era's end credits.

  • Thanks for putting this up.

  • BTW, The second Tom Baker opening is missing, it was used right at the end of his tenure, it's practically the same as Davison's and C. Baker's ones.

  • I hear the Doc's face may be coming back to the opening credits although this is just rumour like a lot of things but It would be nice if they did since it's been part and parcel of Dr. who openings from the 2nd to the 7th doctor

  • are they changing the tune for the upcoming series

  • @Padraig2k9TV I believe they are, they're changing the TARDIS, so I assume so

  • @doctorwhofan63 i think it's just a few tweaks to the song really

  • @doctorwhofan63 They are?. Actualy that brings me to another important DrWho related question. What will the 2011 TARDIS look like.

  • i love the tune there updating it 2 much now like

  • When they brought the series back to life, why did the beeb make such a s**t job of the opening titles. The music was done well enough (although I prefer the heaviest grungy sounding older ones), but the CGI is really appalling. Looks like it was done by the same team that did Colin Baker's voyage round the spiral galaxy.

  • im trippin out maaaaaaan! where the *beep* am i!!! :o

  • did you notice that every Dr.Who opening has that times Dr in it but the new Dr.Who openings

  • @bobbymcearlton It doesn't show the first and 8th doctors!!

  • The David Tennant openings change a little every year.

  • I know, but for the sake of argument they're the same... ;)

  • Objection!

  • @dinoballz Thats funny, I thought the Tennant openings only changed once at christmas 2007.

  • @JoeConcerts Listen closely, the changes are subtle but noticable. Mostly in instruments used, the ammount of base and slightly more notes.

  • david tennant and christopher eccleston dont have exactly the same openings, they are slightly different in each series
