At any rate, this is why i mentioned that one might say he worshipped Satan. Satanism, however, is a religion that was founded after Crowley. Crowley's own religion is called Thelema.
Some people have a worldview that worship of any God besides their own is worship of Satan. However, it's hard to prove that anyone truly worships the same god as another.

That's the interesting thing about Christians who are paranoid about Satanism, they don't realize that they are living "Do what thou wilt" just as much as the Thelemites and the Satanists. The difference is that the later has been empowered enough to more fully realize their choice.
I would argue, however, that changing the name is the ONLY thing that changes what anything is.
