Hey this was an awesome first attempt, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.
First of all, when you go fast, you're doing what drummers commonly call tapping, or topping. It means ur just pushing the beater right next to the head and only bringing it back about an So there is very little power when you hit. would suggest practicing bringing back the beater more, because if you continue tapping, you won't get sound on an acoustic or electric kit.
i don't know if it's because it was an electric kit or if i really need more power. i had the volume low cause there was too much bass for the camera and it would be fuzzy and you couldn't hear the individual hits
