Play PSP ISO game without CFW

Really you would rather do all of these steps instead of getting CFW, its not that hard to get just type in you firmware and watch the video, its alot more easy than doing all of this.

download all of the multiple parts of the game to one location on your computer. When you un-rar part one it will automatically unrar all of the parts for that game, this will result in one iso/cso. multiple rar files is just cor ease of use by the uploader.

Is there a way to make the ISO smaller? I wanted to play the JPN ver of Crisis Core (to see if I can understand it enough to play before I spend the $40 on it) but the ISO is 1.66GB

I tried all the steps, thinking maybe it might shrink the ISO somehow, but when it got to the "RUN fake_np" the command window blinked and that was it. I kept going with the instructions and loaded the EBOOT file but it only said Data Corrupted on my PSP (OFW 6.38).

I'd much rather listen to Toshiyuki Morikawa, GACKT, Kazuhiko Inoue, Sakurai Takahiro, Maaya Sakamoto, etc etc... then whoever they got to do the English voices. That's the only reason I want the Japanese version.

@legolaslover3 I have never played Kingdom Hearts before, but i do have both Dissidia games. Playing Dissidia 012 with a real life friend is some of the most fun I've had with video games. Almost as much fun as 4 player smash bros when everyone is pro and its like 5 in the morning. ahh, good times

@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 Birth by Sleep is different. You play the storyline of 3 different characters (who are all friends) so it's fun to get bits and pieces of a story and then be able to smash it all together by the end to figure everything out. I just ordered Dissidia, so I'll be playing the first one soon. Kinda funny how all 3 of my PSP games are Square-enix. Man, I haven't played Smash Bros since it came out for N64. Best VG fun I've had with a friend was back when Goldeneye first came out!

@firecarl1 Ohh, I know what it is. Your computer is set to read iso files like a zip file. if you check the file extension it will show as a .iso if you are using WinRar as you zip file program it is set to read iso files. If you want to show them as iso instead of zip install an iso program like UltraISO (thats the one that i use).

@firecarl1 I believe you mean that you are downloading two rar files, after you download both rar files (put them in the same location) and you unzip the first it automatically unzip the 2nd giving you just 1 cso file. PSP csos/isos will always just be 1 piece, although they may sometimes be rared into 2 rar files to make for 2 small downloads instead of 1 big one.

some games work on 6.37 oh yea and when u rename the file don'y rename it np.iso just put it as np unless ur a xp user then you put np.iso
