All WWE matches are scripted, but it was personal for both of them. Usually when professional wrestlers feed each other punches if you pay close attention you will notice they always stomp there foot on the ground as they are hitting the other person. In this match you don't see any of that, and I know the punches are real because I can hear some of the haymakers Matt was giving Edge at the beginning of the match. The rest is probably just part of the script, but who knows for sure.
