Frank Gifford was the WCBS-TV sports anchor at this time - while he was playing for the Giants! He'd practice with the team in the daytime and go to the studio at night.

This was September 1964, Frank Gifford just turned 34 years old.

Dorothy always played so seriously and to win that when she got laughs, it was a bonanza. Of course here, it helps that she actually IS wearing the product. She caught on quick.

Frank Gifford is in transition between his distinguished football career and his distinguished broadcasting career
Dorothy looks great. After her 1963 hospitalization for substance abuse problems, she rarely missed broadcasts -- notably 6 broadcasts plus 3 videotape sessions in 1965 when she had to be hospitalized for a broken collarbone. She did not miss a broadcast in 1964.
