  • It's a sweet tune. A nice piece of music to hear during Christmas times. Merry Christmas to everyone !

  • What choir is performing this? They are clearly not Hungarian, even is the pronunciation is among the best I've heard in a while...

  • @zimnomel I mean, "even if".

  • They are not Hungarians. The group is called the Anonymous 4 and they are from the USA.

  • @nandorblue Thank you!

  • I recognise some of the words, but it would be nice if you added lyrics into the description box. :-) BTW, it really does sound more like 15-16. century Hungarian than the modern version of the language (even though Hungarian is a pretty static language compared to other European ones).

  • @ZemplinTemplar Ok, but we understand everything from text, only just the word order is not "modern". BTW the song was interpretated by not Hungarian speakers, I can hear the strange phonation and accent.

  • @hirajem Yes, after listening to the song a few more times with the volume cranked up, I noticed there are some subtle differences in the accent.

  • Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for this post!

  • Oh, which track on the CD is this? I'm forgetting.
