Just some constructive criticism.. More sequences.. less pad/synth string or at least dont drown out everything with it.. need a bit more variation.. even for a "trance" song this is too repetitive.

Although this song is sugar coated MMM-SSS MM-SS trance music that isn't really produced very well because it's his first time, I'd say that aside from the structured repetitiveness and continuous layering of sounds, this was a good first shot.

so before you go knock someone who makes trance, try getting Fruity Loops or Cubase or some MIDI sequencer VST host and try making some yourself. you will see that it indeed takes a lot of skill and know-how.
