thanks, i think the part that is the most dominant in giving a guitar a certain tone is the wood. pick ups are changeable, wood isn't... and for that you can be 100% confident that ERG use the finest pieces of tonal woods there is... you just have to choose your combination, i chose a Mahogany body, Maple, walnut & Wenge neck.

mine is VERY simular.

Im getting a walnut,mahogany,maple top body. with a maple,cherry neck and a wedge fret board. with a x2n bridge and cool rails in the neck.

also how well does your guitar sustian?

i think, the sustain is pretty good, although i heard guitars with better sustain. the reason for that is because i use a floyd rose bridge, and a floyd rose will always have less sustain then a wilkinson bridge, or a fixed bridge like in gibsons.

btw, great choice of woods.
