  • Hmm! Africa is set to have 2 billion people by 2050 and a population that is majority under 35 the AIDS virus killed off the old and the weak, the strongest have survived. Lets bring them in to replace the populations of Europe and America, there is no economic model that supports a 1.38, 1.6 birthrate with a babyboom population that is 80 million+.

  • @DIJV79

  • Funny; the old man went up the mountain and dropped the cain. The video seemed to be suggesting a 'solution' to the problem - one that has been the 'solution' taken by many cultures in older times and was hidden from us. Or I'm just seeing too much.

Still, that 'anxious' music seemed in exact accordance...

  • The answer is nutrition, exercise and more technology in health care to make people live longer and to be productive till their last days. Forget retirement. People retire then they become less active and that is detrimental to health.Loss of muscle and loss of bone density and lower metabolism. This is the result of retirement. The world needs the wisdom and knowledge of older people.Imagine if the great minds could live an extra 30 plus years and be productive. This concept could propel mankind.

  • i love this video

  • politics is a noble calling. In addition to meeting well-defined strategic objectives, politician must also help make meaningful contributions to social issues, economic growth, and political stability. That's why effective political leaders plays a vital role in shaping our world and not shaping their wallets!!

Economic growth without social progress lets the great majority of people remain in poverty, while a privileged few reap the benefits of rising abundance...

  • This is 1 of the best videos i have ever seen cause it really talks about how we can involve our selves in the global aging views of helping the old and the young "KHA"

  • Over the next few decades the population over age 60 will grow by one billion to a total of two billion. The proportion of the working population will fall rapidly. This could pose significant financial problems for the world economy. RAY

  • IT Will be good when there are fewer people .. period.

Seems the 'grey-power' pensions - which the young won't have because big business and governments don't want them to be able to 'help each other' like their parents and grandparents did - are the things keeping economies going.

(And it's not that things are too expensive ... it's that business doesn't want to pay people for their work. Better to hoard money in pension plans than in banks.)

  • The Global Aging Preparedness Index provides the first comprehensive quantitative assessment of the progress that countries worldwide are making in preparing for global aging, and particularly the old-age dependency dimension of the challenge. -RAY

  • lol..with all the problems we have today you're worried about something that may or may not happen 40 years from now. Get your priorities straight!

  • Money is an illusion, the problem is allocation and distribution. We have to stop wasting resources on useless entertainment and push technology to cross the age of singularity. Only with advanced technology will we be able to eradicate current limitations and master abundance. Centuries ago, we have people toiling for paltry yields in the fields. Now we have monstrous machines sweeping the harvest. To deter a self-devouring system, we have to stop useless production.

  • one of the causes of this outgrowing number of the seniors is the fertility issues. I think that the solution to this problem is the root. if we try to comprehend the population control of countries around the, this really cause a problem. at least we can minimize the rate of birth controls and have a balance repopulation, for a better workforce and financial support. - KHA

  • Global aging is really a big problem specially if we take into consideration the financial aspect of this dilemma. i believed that one of the solution to this problem is good job and just salary pay for the working age-group in order to support their elderly. in this way, government funding and burden will be lifted up a little. -RAY

  • Global Aging is very crucial for everyone, people change because of there surroundings, the economy and the government.check it out this video you will see how it goes.

  • Has anyone taken the time to notice how goddamn epic this music is... I mean just listen to it!!!

  • True, poverty accross the globe has caused the declining number of people supporting the elderly. Not because they don't want to but because they even hardly have enough time for themselves. Nowadays, everything is so expensive that man needs to work too much and too long and still can't have enough resources to support everyone in the family and can't even ave quality time for himself , for the family, more than everything else the elderly. - RAY

  • Global aging is occurring at a rate never seen before and we will need to pay close attention to how countries respond to the challenges and opportunities of growing older

  • Every month, the world's population of persons age 65 and older grows by 800,000 individuals

  • Well. balances in people by ages may be really a big impact to our economy. including changes in people as they were being held by their Government beliefs. find out more in this video - RAY

  • Global Aging is a big challenge, Over the next 50 years, the populations of Europe and Japan are projected to decline

There is no single solution but Countries are taking a many-pronged approach: increasing the working population,

i productivity, decreasing benefits, funding pension plans, and encouraging

    personal savings.

  • It's really a pain in the mind thinking of Global Aging as it happens thru every happenings that the world have. Government, Nature, Population, even other Religious Groups do have their own way. well, to find out more, check this video - RAY

  • Why the sudden attention to a demographic trend that has been obvious for decades? It's because the future is already dawning in many nations.

What really has pushed aging to the top of the global agenda, though, are ballooning fiscal gaps in different countries that could worsen as boomers retire.

  • You guys do understand that we're looking at the Baby Boomers here and that the situation is temporary, right? It will go back to "normal" in 50 years, max.

  • compelling

  • Epic. I love the music. Where can I see more such videos?

  • Global Aging, what a video. This will inspire countless to learn not to RELY ON GOVERNMENT SUPPORT and set a spark to the age of the old tried and true method of individual responsibility. Clearly the age of big centralized governments is dead. We're only left with the decaying carcass of a long viewed reviled beast on humanity. Stand clear and watch the collapse. Good riddance ye globalists.

  • @greenback001 You're an idiot, they are the Globalists..Did you actually read the trailing credits.. This video is from 'The International Monetary Fund'..You know, the same global bank that funds dubious projects in 3rd world countries, and burdening them with impossible debts.. Eventually causing ecological damage, austerity and civil unrest, until the army declares Marshall -Law, and installs a Despot.. This is an all too common scenario..And now they have their greedy eyes on the Arab world

  • How?... reverse wealth inequality.

The IMF should be key to reversing wealth inequality.
