Ive tried several Vehicles for off road. My Verdict? The old school Jeep with the I-6 engine is Number 1. The other Vehicles I tried were more comfortable for the road, or my have have had more powerful engines, but the Jeep Wrangler just was in a another category.

hi to delaware! offroading usually is not comfortable at all. If u ask me, Durango is not a jeep for extremal offroading. It is not ready and it is not created for this. It is more universal car for everything. and for some kind of offroading too ). I the future I will buy a special jeep for sport offroading.

@valontube i understand off roaing is not comfortable i am just saying that our departments tahoes are much more comfortable and take the off roading abuse much better than my vehicle but i guesss its more of a pursuit vehicle than a offroad vehicle not many police vehicles are meant to go off road ya know

i am a delaware state park patrol officer and this is the vehicle i drive everyday and it is not suitable at least comfortable for off-road driving i use it everyday off roads and it is very horrible its very bumoy and it throws you around inside and if i am transporting a prisoner i dont need them bumping around in the back like they do

4.7 and 5.7 have the same fuel usage. My experience: 90km/h - 10liter, 110 km/h -11 liter. city -17-20liter.

That is true, but between the new tahoe expedition and durango, i'd say the durango is the best out of the three even though it is not that great.

@LarryDavidFreak yea same. I like the newer engine tho :) nice power. I have the first gen. i just dont like what they did with the stylin in the second one. in my opinion it looks more like a chunky van. The first Gen had a more unique look.
