I have a Yale padlock and i have a proper tortion wrench and no matter how much i fiddle around with a paperclip with the pins the damn thing wont click open. what the hell am i doing wrong!?
lol i was locked out of my house cause i forgot my keys were in my back pack once so i had a paper clip and i was like meh might as well try XD i got it to was all like O.O HOLY SHIT
Doors are a bit harder to pick than locks (well of course). , especially the paper clips might bend when torquing too much or if the keyhole is narrow and hard to get to the pins. My door was a pain to pick lol
Can you please do a tutorial with your explanation because I really don't understand why you have to wiggle to clips in the lock to open it...etc It is up to you, but a tutorial will help a lot. And if you do a tutorial, send me a message. Thank you! ;)
I have a little problem, when I try to push all the pins to th shearline one by one, they won't stay they just keep falling down, why is that, I'm a beginer and I open it sometimes but not always only when I push the paper clip around randomly, I wanna know exactly what I need to do to open it, the lock itself is nothing special, plzzz help. Nice vid by th way I'm impressed:)
would any part of the clip possibly break off into the lock? adn would you recomend this on regular house hold locks; such as forgetting your keys adn trying to get in?
It depends on your paperclips, mine are good ones and they don't easily break. But after picking more than 5-10 Times the Spanner breaks. I would suggest throwing the tools into trash every 5 times, then you're safe. You can make easily new ones ;)
If you forgot your keys, it is a good way to get in. But I would suggest you to practice before your in an "emergency situation".
beautiful lock by the wway, and how u makde that tension tool, ive made some of metal cap thind that runs inside a windshield wiper but its pretty wide, where u got that narrow thing?
Using a torque wrench by folding a flat paperclip in half and then bending it to an angle.Made a rake-ish pick with another paper clip and no thing happens.. not having any trouble pushing up the pins seems the torque wrench is the problem any idea why?
Okay, I've tried this now for like, 5 minutes, and I've got nothing. How are you moving the torsin wrench clip and the pick clip? Don't you just apply a little pressure to the torsin wrench and wiggle the pick up and down?
is it possible to open those big locks, like huge keys, i think they are called cylinders. is it like the same, but with bigger tools?tks for reading and for uploading this great vid!tks!
oh really? Did you ever picked a bigger / harder lock than this in my movie? Try some house cylinders, I wanna see if you say then again, it's so easy...
and for the shakey hands... I heard it about houndred times, look at the other comments, I have only one thing to say: what the hell does it matter, that your shaking? It's immaterial. So, please don't say this again, I heard it, and i know it, and it doesn't matter.
That's your opinion, but for each lock you have to practice all the time, you cant just stick the spanner and the pick in and then it's open. Ask other good Lockpickers, for example from Lockpicking 101... Not at all, i'm not shure if you own a lockpicking set?
I dont own a lockpicking set, I use a hairclip and a homemade (as good as pro) tension wrench made from a wiper blade insert, though I agree with u, u do need to practice with each lock, though if u have the key just do the pencil trick and it gets much easier
i really like your tension wrench idea, its much easier to keep tension applied than the 1 i sumtimes use (of course i use a real tension wrench most of the time)
yea, i was kinda wondering what abus was, because they don't have that brand here in the U.S. I have checked all your other videos out, they're all really good. But just wonderin, how come you speak english so good if you live in switzerland?
the best way to open combination locks is to make a "ring" shaped piece a metal and slide it down along the bar pushing the "ball" that holds the lock in place to the side, allowing you to slide the bar up. however this only works on padlock-type combo locks not the chain or horizontal-type locks, Good luck
Hi, the first paperclip i straighten it, then i bend it just 1-2 centimetres at 180° then again, then its fatter, to give the force to turn it, but it breakes easly...
nice movie blizzard.. How did you made that paperclip what you stick in first? you just ehm.. make it al little bit fatter at the end by double it? (my english is bad i'm dutch;) )
I live in switzerland, we haven't master locks, we have only abus, and other producers ;-) look at my other videos, i pick more harder locks than this one ;-)
Ah i c, i had the tention pick on the wrong side, no wonder they kept going back. Thank you

W00T!! lol it worked on lockers at school!
Skillscapee 2 years ago
You should try unbending the clip, then bend it in half with one side just a litle bit longer than the other.
Twist the tips a few times so they don't separate too much and introduce both in the lock. Finally twist your "key".

its way eaiser to just take a hammer and hit the top of the lock downward till it opens
atomicninja09 2 years ago
yeah that wouldn't work with a "better" lock though.
TheSkipdalocksmith 2 years ago
A tip, try raking the lock first. With most padlocks, it can easily take out most the pins.

you have to put tension on the tension wrench, then the pins won't fall down.

how you make the shape of the paper clip to lock pick it
manofstael 4 years ago
Of the pick or the spanner? The pick is easy to make, the Spanner is a little bit harder, just look at mine in the movie.
Blizzard4242 4 years ago
dantheman1993 is right, lockpicking is easy
just cuz u know how to pick a simple lock like that, doesnt mean u can underestimate people.
to lockpick u just need to pull up the pins and turn the tension wrench
oh, house cylinders are only dificult cuz u cant turn them upside down.
SalazarBR 4 years ago
