  • I got this for xmas one year when I was around 4 or 5 loved it got very angry and knocked the board over once when playing with my older sister and her boyfriend.

  • so who is that 1 person who dislikes this? it's probably that kid who always lost this game.

  • The game came out in 1986. You SHOULD be saying "Oh board games of the 80's, you were so thrilling."

  • had it still complete up to a few years ago when my asshole parents sold it at a house sale FUCKERS i want it back

  • Wouldn't this make the greatest movie or video game?

  • no dislikes ?? of course not, Fireball Island would KILL YOU if you did lol

  • This game was a lot of fun...wonder if it's still at my parent's house...lol

  • Thumbs up if you think this would make a better movie than Battleship.

  • wow... why is it that AVGN does a much better job making this game look fun?

  • FIREBALL ISLAND!!! GRRR!

  • Was like the only 3 dimensional board game I played as a kid, was such a rush... I went and gave it to a neighbor when I moved out, like an idiot and I hope he fckin enjoys it haha

  • "I'm Dog-meat!"

  • I have this game :D it's awesome. kiiinda hard to get people together to play it though these days. I wish they'd make an online version of it, but it would be pretty hard to get the fireball rolling right, even with a physics engine. i=In the game, there was always a chance you'd be safe from a fireball, if you positioned your dude right, or if the ball was rolled wrong wrong. they'd have to make sure there's an element of chance with the rolling.

  • needs "CROSSFIREEEEEEE!"

  • A game anybody can play as long as you got balls.

  • AOTS

  • @101nibs AOTS =)

  • man I have this game nearly in tact. The pink piece is broken but that's okay. This is definitely THE best board game I have ever played.

  • @2HornDogs stop shopping at walmart!!!!

  • This is one board game that the angry video game nerd actually commends!

  • Wow, that's not half as awesome as I remember it.

  • OMG anyone remember the lion king board game where there were spinning skulls and then you had to fling bugs from a tree stump and then there was a rotating reflector pond and THEN at the very end there were three boulders and you had to fling simba at them and if the boulder had scar behind it....YOU WON.

THIS game, fireball island, and other games of the sort were SO EPIC.

  • anyone remember this game im talking about? it was just like this. i had it as a kid. you and some people climbed up a mountain, and it had a tasmanian devil (or some sort of monster) that would spin down the mountain to hit the players in the way on the way down (unless you moved in a corner on your turn). real fun. i would just play with the monster itself and spin it on stuff around the house lol

  • Tornado Rex

  • yesssssssssss thats it, thanks a lot! oh the memories

  • i loved this game

  • I had this game in Ventura, California in 1987... that makes it an 80's game yo..

  • the logo looks like indiana jones

  • It's sad that I remember this commercial. I watched way too much tv

  • LOL Watch the prices for this game skyrocket thanks to the new AVGN review.

  • i wish playing these games felt the one this Commercial showed it.

  • haha i just played this game today!!! It was my brothers when he was little (: I love this... games were so classic back then

  • FORBIDDEN!!!!

  • I still have my copy. Miraculously, I was able to retain all of the little bits through my childhood, it is a complete game. Whenever people hear that I still have it, they want to play. Such a great game.

  • holy shit i had this!!!!!!! memorys

  • 1992? You sure?

  • Yeah I thought this was more 1988...

  • Used to have a copy of this. My parents threw it away. Now it is regularly selling for over $200 on Ebay. Yeah...

  • @walt776 friend of mine just sold hers for 200 :-P sorry about your luck

  • Indiana Jones, the boardgame.

  • This game was released in 1986.. whoever posted this doesnt know their Fireball Island very well..

  • this brings back some memories; hunting around to find all of the bits for the bridges when i was about 10... then playing with a massive drunken group when i was 18...

i wish they still had it, and i wish they werent $200+ on ebay.

whoever milton bradley is, he's a dick. i hope you fall down in the shower, you fireball-island-denying old coot!

    FAKE JEWEL!

  • @BalbacratZ it could be 2 guys somethin Milton & somethin Bradley

  • Man I wish I had this game. Now its expensive as hell on Ebay. I heard they discontinued it because it cost more to make than profits brought in

  • For christmas one year I got both Fireball Island and a NES...best christmas ever!

  • This looks like one great game! If you ask me,Milton Bradley should bring back games that are greatly missed like this one.Even Forbidden Bridge and other games from the 90's and 80's.

  • I aways thought this was the coolest game ever. I'd go over to my cous's house and beg for him to play it with me, but he never would, dick

  • lol

  • greatest board game ever..well there's mnopoly but this game was awesome. but didn't it comeout in the mid 80's?

  • Oh wow... Man I loved seeing this commercial...and I always figured that one day I would get this game, but I never did. :(

  • Such is the fate of many things i've always wanted. This game included.

  • Had this game! It was great. Now they are selling for like $200.00. Crazy.

  • This game is hands down the best board game ever made. It becomes pretty tactical if you are playing with advanced players. It's too bad they don't re- release this game.

  • the commercial makes it look so much cooler than it was....

  • oooooooooh! i want this game now.

  • Comment removed

  • greatest game ever! it was truly a work of art in itself.

  • "I'M DOG MEAT!!" LOL! Man, I wanted this game SOOO bad when I was a kid.

  • one of the best board games i've ever played.

  • I have this game. Who wants to buy it for $1000?

  • This game is from 1986 not 1992.

  • Comment removed

  • brings back so many memories!

  • Oh, man, this was the BEST.

It's tied with the Ghostbusters Firehouse for my favorite Christmas present.

  • god I wish i still had this game

  • i just found this game resting alongside a dumpster. it's complete except for a missing pawn.

  • You are awesomely fortunate.

  • i just played this in italy a few weeks ago- my boyfriend had got it when he was a kid "l'isola di fuoco". i didnt even remember it but it rocks!! i tried to fnd one online and that shit costs 200$!!

  • "I'm dog meat!"

  • oh, holy shit! I had forgotten all about this game. The fire-spitting head thing used to scare me so bad as a kid, yet I'd always pack it around with me and consult it on matters of crushing ants and important rocks to keep.

  • Why do every one of these commercial say "1992" when most of them are from the mid to late 80's?

  • This game was awesome, and the commercial rocked as well.

  • i loved that game!

  • I got this game at a thrift store when I was young in the early 90's and it was my FAVORITE board game of all time. It was thrown away without me knowing about it some years later and now it sells on ebay for like $100. Damn it all.

  • Just picked this game up complete and in pristine condition on eBay for a cool $135. It was definitely worth every penny and the game is even cooler than I remember! Everyone should track down this classic.

  • This is by far the best board game ever. I'm just said that it's out of print and we can't have everyone join the fun. I still have my copy of it though with all of the original pieces and everything. I could probably get like a hundred bucks for it on eBay, but it is by far too awesome to sell.

  • We still play Fireball Island today, and a slightly modified version we made up called "Fireball Cranium". Good times.

  • I'M DOG MEAT!!!

Hehe, had the 1986 version here, I think. Got it for Christmas...never knew what happened to it as I got older.

  • I own this game...great times have been had playing it.

  • i used to have this game too bad my mother threw it out behind my back

  • I'm sooooooo glad i still have this game from when I was a kid.

  • i gotta get this on ebay

  • Oh man, you've got to. This game kicks MAJOR ass! It'll cost you a pretty penny, but totally worth it.

  • yeah im gonna try to get one b4 christmas.

  • i have the orginal 1986 version and its in mint condition...this is the BEST game ever!

  • That game was the shiznit!

  • I STILL have this game today!

  • Thanks for this. Until I saw this video I had been wondering why so many references to this game showed a very dark board. My mom got me this game in the mid 90s for 5 bucks from a garage sale. Fortunately for me it was not only complete but the original 1986 release. The 1992 version is noticeably different with a much darker themed board and a different looking Vul Kar.

  • I had the 1986 release, too. My brother ruined it around 1995 when he was 5. That bastard!

  • I don't think I have ever seen the commerical, but I had the game.

  • I have been scouring the internet for the past ten years looking for this. When I first saw it 21 years ago, I thought I found God. Thank you. Thank you, for finally putting the best thing on the internet. :-)
