  • Don't use adobo bacalao is salty

  • Just add sofrito poquito .yea

  • GREAT VIDEO!

  • The reason I don't use packs of sazon! is because of the MSG, It not good for you. try it natural maybe even some chopped cilantro.

  • @eddymarrero can you maie a video on how to make barrigas de vieja(calabaza fritters)

  • never heard of baking powder nor baking soda in bacalaitos amd I've been eating them all my life.

  • I think he also left out the baking powder. APF, does not rise as it is not a self rising flour. If you want them to rise a bit and fluff up, then add 1 tsp of baking powder to the flour mixture. I would also add a small packet of sazon just for color and additional flavor and some sofrito. Otherwise this brotha can cook and not knocking this man.

  • @googo151 If you go to the supermarket , Please find AP flour self rise.

  • @chef4life111 Thanks Chef. I like the self rising flour; that's the way to go for this recipe. No need for baking powder or baking soda.

  • @lovedancin Your so Welcome

  • I agree with "evapanelli1". You need the sazon and the minced cilantro. Hmm yummy! Just like coming out of Mom's kitchen.

  • Adonde esta el Zazon??? It does not taste the same AT ALL if you omit the ZAZON GOYA (with culantro y achiote). Also, finely minced cilantro into the batter as well as baking soda ... THAT'S Mami's recipe -- Authentic...
