Second, the US armed forces have complained that their rifles take too long at bringing down targets. Some people have been shot several times and kept running and firing.

I'm from Switzerland and that's rubbish. Our crime goes up like a rocket the more foreigners live here and the the more open our borders are. Army weapon ammunition is sealed and the weapon must at all times be stored at a safe place. We have not many incidents with weapons in contrary to the USA. And our safety has nothing to do with the guns, more with the mentality of swiss people. Most troubles in Switzerland comes from Muslims. My country basicly has no gun crime at all. People don't understand why it's nessescary to own weapons here. In 2011, i think we had like 3 gun related deaths over course of a year. It's hard to get guns here though, for private use. You need to be a member of a gun club for at least 2 years, and keep your weapons locked in a gunsafe at home, if you are going to own any. Don't see how i am less free, for that matter really. Americans are so paranoid, that they want guns everywhere. Sad really.

@riceburnagtv You never shot a gun. First, you need to aim. Bullets are not magical, and if you are shooting a pistol they can be quite inaccurate if you have to react fast.
Second, the US armed forces have complained that their rifles take too long at bringing down targets. Some people have been shot several times and kept running and firing.
Handguns are pretty poor man-stoppers in general. You have to shoot several times.
A knife in your carotid kills you in 3 seconds.

in Swizerland, we have big problems with muslims. the biggest problems is with ex jugoslavien people. specialy with peoples fron bosnia, mazedonia, albania and so on. it is very sad to say it, but is the trouth: underdeveloped peoples .
in the last few month we became to have problems with peoples from northern africa. after the revoutions to free them they are free now try to fuck us.
all of them says, they want to be free, but the only think they want is get money without working. PARASITES.

I'm from Switzerland and that's rubbish. Our crime goes up like a rocket the more foreigners live here and the the more open our borders are. Army weapon ammunition is sealed and the weapon must at all times be stored at a safe place. We have not many incidents with weapons in contrary to the USA. And our safety has nothing to do with the guns, more with the mentality of swiss people. Most troubles in Switzerland comes from Muslims. Sad, but true (I'm far from being a racist, check the numbers).

My country basicly has no gun crime at all. People don't understand why it's nessescary to own weapons here. In 2011, i think we had like 3 gun related deaths over course of a year. It's hard to get guns here though, for private use. You need to be a member of a gun club for at least 2 years, and keep your weapons locked in a gunsafe at home, if you are going to own any. Don't see how i am less free, for that matter really. Americans are so paranoid, that they want guns everywhere. Sad really.

in the latest past we had a lot of bad accidents with army-rifles and guns. for example kids are killing each other with dadys army gun. or stressed family fathers are killing kids, wife. and its very easy for them because they have rifle inclusive 50 bullets for free from the swiss army. and if you are killing a burglar in Switzerland you get 20 years even if you do it in your own house...
so if you want to protect your family, keep the guns away from home.
