I'm just surprised that the passengers were allowed to stick their heads out of the windows. They would have cost the company millions of pennies if their heads had been taken off in some hilarious head taking off accident. They weren't even wearing high visibility jackets, that's just not on!
as its an enthusiasts tour they stick their heads out for the loco sounds etc.. but as railway enthusiasts I suppose they would know the dangers and notice tunnels and bridges.. so they would (presumably) have the sense to stop hanging out once they see the bridge and pop their heads out again after! I have done this before at the llangollen railway and had no problem spotting the tunnel! Even did it on the return whilst it was dark!
Who knows, really no need for flash in any railway photting cirumstances really. Bit far to call him a tosser though, easy mistake to make with most cameras defaulting to 'Auto Flash'.
whey finally, a video which dosent focus or zoom in on the carriages when you hear the thrash of the loco in the distance, but it is nowhere to be seen, those type of videos really are !@*! for that one reason.
saw 405 this morning in Toton waiting for scrapping.
