I had 4 molars extracted along with 4 pre molars so that's 8 in one sitting. I was completely unconscious under the influence of intervaneous anhestisia and didn't feel a thing. My after math doesn't hurt at all and the blood you have to deal with when you get home is annoying. But after a couple of hours, you really don't feel any pain of you take pain killers. It's hard to eat food tough!

I got my wisdom teeth out about a month ago. Getting them removed was the easy part. You don't feel a thing. The aftermath was the hard part. Me and my brother both developed dry socket. Which was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. It was about two weeks until I ate solid foods.

Just got mine out. 1 of them to be exact. Was very hard to get it out so the doc split it into pieces then took em out one by one. Contrary to what everyone is saying, the surgery didn't hurt or anything. Make sure you pick a good doctor and not some random guy, and you'll be fine.

It's not as scary as you think. The worst is the fear you put yourself through leading up to it. You will be sedated, but still alert enough to answer questions. You won't feel anything. Next thing you know, you wake up like from a nap and go home. You will have some discomfort for a few days, but the dentist should have given you a prescription for pain pills and possibly an antibiotic. If not, Tylenol or Aleve will do the trick. Just don't chew anywhere near it!

@cupcakelover2197 yup! the stitches aren't bad though. :) i got mine out like a week ago. so long as you take your pain killers, from start to finish it's very easy. the worst part is being nervous in the waiting room before surgery. lol it's not bad being in bed for a while cause you get ice cream and stuff. I just got my wisdom tooth out and I wasnt put asleep. Well for anyone who has to get them out dont worry it doesnt hurt better if you do it with a full anesthetic. The only shity thing is that when they start removing it you feel the damn presure while they are cutting your bone and the horrible sound of the machine in your brain. I was like WTF MAN they ripping my chin out ?. No pain but an uncomfortable feeling. After the operation you get painkillers no pain again. Only shit you are swollen.

I was awake during mine so even though the general anesthetic didn't allow me to feel any pain I could still feel the pressure my dentist applied on my gums, which was REALLY uncomfortable and during the whole thing I had to hold myself back from punching the dentist. He worked on my wisdom teeth like he was trying to pry a nail from a board, heartless bastard. The worst part was probably giving me no drugs, what so ever, for the horrible pain I went through that week afterwards, i cried so much

@Habiat23 they put me on the table, shoved the needle in, and BAM lights out. Then waking up a second later, high as hell. The pain didn't hit me till the high wore off. It was pretty tolerable with the tylenol 3s but at times I wanted to tear by jaw off.
