Congressman Emanuel Lewis is the representative that claimed to have been spat on. To quote him exactly, a man "allowed his saliva to hit my face" and "I thought he was going to say, 'Hey, I was yelling. Sorry.' But he continuing yelling..." The NAACP desperately strives to remain relevant, in part from the understanding that the clock is running out on the racial divide. Individually, racists of all colors will persist, but societal racism will continue to dwindle (e.g. black GOP Congressional Candidate Tim Scott's nomination win in SC)...

@Raycheetah ... The voices of racial activism will fade away until the only ones still being raised will be those of blacks perpetuating the issue, and they will stand out as atavistic and anomalous in a maturing culture. ='[.]'=
