  • Chords to the song?

  • Whats the chord progression to this song? anyone? help please lol

  • I love Corneille!!! Thanks for always singing deep from the heart! I hope I never have to say these lines about my home... although sometimes it happens that I just want to just turn my back on it... the memories don't go away... Encore une fois merci!!!

  • I think this is a song of hope. He says "IF I never" throughout the whole song until the very end, and it is always said with a plea for forgiveness. At the end of the song he says, "I hope you can take care of your own, next time I see you." He says he wants to remember Rwanda caring for its own. But if it can't do what he asks, THEN he won't ever call it home again. There's hope that he might call it home once more, and I hope he does.

  • there is no place like home!!! bro, there is many genocide survivors and now they are proud to be rwandan again so its not u only ,who passd in those moments,

  • People, I'm not from Rwanda or anything, but he's got the right to express his feelings, if he cannot get over it or don't want to I can't blame him, we all feel in a different way...

  • saw his interview at Oprah`s book club... looks like he already is over it... forget n forgive...

    MAN IS DAMN TALENTED :)

    God bless him

  • sooo soothing,

    love it.

  • too sad that you are mad at Rwanda like that, ...tell you what: Rwanda is what inspires you Corneille and you know that, I am very sorry about the moments you've passed through, we all Rwandans have passed through genocide hardship but what if all of us living abroad said we hate Rwanda!

Think twice Corneille! and let's just say that this was only a song, or you were angry, which obviously is mankind

  • I love his voice

  • Corneille is famous and better than Kagame. Truth is someday he will come to forget and give some love to this land of crazy people "Rwanda"

  • Next guy after Kagame??? one might argue after Juvenal!!! i mean depends on who argues....

Many of us love that country but it doenst change the fact that we aint calling it home anymore!

Not that we lost interests, but that the only memories we have are bad... we jus want to forget it and yh move foward!! we even now building up Europe in this crisis....!!

Its deff not because we dnt want to give it all to rwanda but lets face it rwanda gave up some of us!!

  • Corneille mon cher, I can't blame your cosmopolitan spirit. you made it clearn in the song " Man of the World." so go on do your thing bro... la ou j suis bien, la est ma patrie...

  • u dont have to call it home, but at least throw us a lil shoutout or sthg. cz it seems everytime u talk about rwanda ur kind of shitting on us a little.

I'm not saying go back, or wave the flag or none like that. you lost ur family, you chose to move on, i can respect that. But dude, there's thousands of Rwandans who r proud of wat uve accomplished, and many of whom look up to you. you can't just ignore that, u gotta acknowledge it somehw. ur the most famous rwandan alive after president kagame.

  • ProductofGenocide i agree with you but you must know that corneille can´t change the world he can just bring his part of contribution in Rwanda. and i think he does his possible to help you ...and you have to respect that .!...take easy.... peace$love Wesley

  • Tres Bon. Corneille!

  • the big corneille.

  • Never Say Never

  • brother, really nice song and awefully touchy. I hope you get to "find back what you had left to give". I think I am strong enough to keep calling it home though I dont live live there anymore.....and never say never.

  • Schönes Lied :)

  • a Simple & Deep Song nothing conveys a story like a song

  • he 's sorry for never call rwanda his home again

and i think he is rwight!

but he doesn't say rwanda is not his again

try to think in same way with him u gonna understand

  • Brother Corneille. I feel ur pain man. But ur song is not helping us to move forward. As genocide survivors ,it is our duty to end the Hutu and Tutsi problems. This shit doesn't make any sense. if we want a peaceful Rwanda the tools are in our hands. But singing, writing ur personel feelings especially when you know exactly that you are a role model to the youn ones , I find it so disturbing. I hope you won't trade ur Rwandans blood with fame & money. You are Rwandan 1st,African, and Canadian.

  • Based ur mixture blood( Hutu&Tutsi) , you are the perfect canditate for CHANGE.Learn from the Master.OBAMA brought together Black&White.Would you sing about the positive progress of Rwanda now? and help to correct the negatives. We are all human beings and mistakes are part of daily life, but focusing on our mistakes will hinder our progress.

  • I respect that, an i understand ; the only thing that traumatized some young rwandese is to see thier Brother who survived as them sayin such words " i'll never call u home again" for us ,that was like i'm don't hve anything to do with u guys,i live my life..............., but the fact that he sings his parents , we also sing our's and it relieves

  • GUYS, this guy is a seller; don't try to find the reason of these kinds of words. I know he lost his parents ... but if he knew that there are THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN who lost all their families, and still have heavy lives he'd just shut up and say " thanks Jesus for all u gave me" Corneille iused as a MARKETING TOOL.

  • Yeah but he had a chance to publicized the tragedy so people dont forget. His parents were shot infront of him and I guess its an honor to their memorie to sing about them

  • Dude. That's harsh.

  • hey where can buy his album in the us

  • i wanna know that too

  • well, I don't blame him, his parents were killed there. He's traumatized by the trajedy. Stuntinlikemydadyy, you still live in Rwanda, you don't have a choice but to stay there, right? well understand him a little. his country is to blame. by the way sorry about your family.

    God Bless

  • i left rwanda when i was 4 years old to go to the united states of america. i live in Denver, Colorado. am american right now but i still recognize that rwanda is my home land. I guess corneille is kind of traumatized as u said.

  • i love this song!!!!!

  • am from rwanda too, they killed my family. he's just trying to be stupid. as the matter fact rwanda still his country, why should he say , i'll never call you home again. that's gay man. i like corneille but he should have think before he write the text of this song. man am so pissed. corneille, now your new country is Canada. you just beig stupid.

  • u r right man: PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF I NEVER CALL YOU HOME AGAIN

  • This is AH-MAZING! WOW!!!

  • Ah.

    :)

  • I'm just speechless... This is Brilliant
