He turns the 'ace' on the 2 of clubs but then a 8 of diamonds appears out of no where. My guess is that the ace is a double back card. One side is the ace and the other side is the 8 of diamonds

at 1:48 when he takes the ace off the top you can see 2 cards and he hides the ace under need the 3 perfectly so you cant see it when he lays them down. then he just shows you the card that was underneath the ace. Win for me lol

Notice how he sets the aces down but only shows the back of the ace of spades the other ones are double sided cards and he has 5 cards in those three piles and the real aces are already in the ace of spades pile

If youy pause it at 1:50 (when he is doing the second pile) you can see him put the ace under with another card. he actually has 4 cards with each ace, not three. then he puts the ace under one of the cards that he lays on the table sso it's out of view.

This one, aswell as the copperfield grandpa's aces, are variations of the mcdonald's aces.

But in my opinion chris' version can't be compared to the magic and grace that copperfield did.

I do think that the effect of vanishing the aces is much stronger, than transforming them into different cards.

stop at 1:47 you can see him holding up 2 cards for a double lift. then stop at 1:49 you see 2 cards. damn he is amazing i had to watch like 30 times to figure it out. the aces are cards with both sides printed with a number.
