  • I just finished nes version, it was very good and had a charm that the ds version didnt but i have to say i like ds version better. not cuz of the graphics or the music but the story is better told and each character actully has an individual role.

  • I heard this in duodecim dissidia: I love it.

  • to the NES boy, not everyone could have a nes when they were young. The DS remake was my only chance to play this awesome game, to me, and for some other people I guess, so stop trying to prove that a version is better that another, it's the SAME game. And we all enjoy it whatever the version.

  • @cleo958 I prefer the NES version ^^ i've already finished FFIII on the NES

  • @Luirio

    I finished both versions.

Personally, while I like the charm of the 8-bit game, I liked how the DS version made it so that most of the classes are actually usable. Some of the classes in the 8-bit game were seriously useless. (i.e. Conjurer)

  • @cardboardsnail It is quite possible to beat the game with a Conjurers and Bards.

  • @Lockwolfe he means they are useless in the nes verion, Which they are. Fucking hours and hours of grinding if u plan to meet the final boss with those....

  • @UzumakiNarutoKun96 I disagree...on the Conjures behalf that is(bard still sucks, unless you want the "ultimate-oUlTiMAtE challenge)I beat the Cave of Shadows/Dark, Bahamut AND Leviathan with a Conjurer i.e Bahamut's MEGAFLARE(spelled correctly)can be reflected, the only downside is if he doesn't use it,your toast or if in the 1 1/2 turns you have at the Beginning He's first two attacks on you do too much damage(or worse kill your Conjurer) you're dead, also try flipping a coin during the fight :)

  • @Sekainoowaride i prefer a safe bet when fighting such strong bosses.

  • I love the NES version of Final Fantasy 3 songs but I must admit that the DS version did a very good job when they remade these. But NES still rocks

  • This game has the best music ever, the NES version of course

  • pity its so short

  • original.

  • FINAL FANTASY III WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THE SAME WITHOUT THIS SONG

  • Is this the Airship track in FF4 or is it just extremely similar??

  • can anyone tell me where to download this soundtrack?

  • Shpuld Zack Fair be in Dissidia 2?

  • @MightyAuron no,we need Vincent Valentine,Zack is already dead sorry, but it's true, besides,Cloud has the Buster Sword,if Zack appears after the first dissidia and cloud appears that'll fuck the entire continuity,if he appears, then young Laguna should appear,Leo Cristophe should appear, etc.etc if they put the original characters + new ones (Vincent fighting alongside cloud or Zell for Squall)It will work better

  • @LordDolor1989 Since when has Dissidia ever been about continuity?

  • @TheHeroHartmut it's canonical in every FF universe,check FF wiki :)

  • @LordDolor1989 Since when are wikis reliable information sources?

  • @TheHeroHartmut Since forums and rumors are not

  • @LordDolor1989 Wikis can be edited by anyone, correct or not. Thus, they're not reliable sources.

  • @TheHeroHartmut however,it's the best thing at the momment

  • @LordDolor1989 Still doesn't make them particularly reliable.

  • @LordDolor1989 Zack would just be a paper copy of Cloud, so there's no point in having him as a character. Maybe he could be in the tutorials section or something.

  • @nomorerocketships who?cloud or zack?

  • @LordDolor1989 Zack of course.

  • @nomorerocketships agreed

  • @nomorerocketships A copy? I'd think that SE would use the version of Zack in the beginning of CC, i.e. when he was a 2nd Class SOLDIER and didn't have the Buster Sword. Then his EX Mode would be something like "Realize Your Potential," and equip him with the Buster Sword from CC, adding his spiky hair and scar as well. His Burst would use the Digital Mind Wave for sure.

  • @EndreVanan Seriously, though, FF7 doesn't need more representation. FF2 and 3 could use a little more; perhaps Leon and Xande as Chaos characters.

  • @TheHeroHartmut Dude you read my mind

  • @dandynood I'd actually heard an interesting characterisation idea about interactions between Ramza from FFT and Xande if they were included in a Dissidia game:

Xande would learn about the nature of the conflict, and see it as a form of immortality, which he had been denied in FF3. Ramza, however, being a practical paragon of goodness (being from a world where he got punished for it time and time again), would work towards breaking the cycle and sending everyone home.

    The two would clash.

  • @TheHeroHartmut cool, i also think they should characters from other FFs like FF5 or FF6 if there's another dissidia game, like Locke or Galuf

  • Wrong, DS lovers, you're all wrong. The NES versions have a special charm to the music that the DS clearly lacked, EX: the boss music.

  • Still, the DS version wasn't a bad game or remake, even if it wasn't quite as good as the original.

  • Nostalgic feelings (what you call "special charm" can be a terrible thing in my eyes. The word "clearly" belongs to those you don't wear rose coloured glasses.

Of course, this song is still great.

  • I agree, the NES version has much better music than the DS version.

  • @itachi1284 well theres only really 1 song i like better on ds and thats the crystal cave song cause on nes it sounds like ear rape

  • @itachi1284 the boss music yeah you're right in my opinion but the crystal tower sounds alot better than the NES in epicness and beauty but thats just my opinion. ff3 was the 2nd final fantasy i've play 10 was the first but ff3 is my favorite. sorrry for meddling

  • @itachi1284 It's the nostalgia, the wonder, and the imagination you put in.

  • @itachi1284 Agreed. I don't know why idiot gamers get all worked up over a remake of ANY kind. It's just the same game 'modernized'. Personally, I prefer the ORIGINAL thing; compared to a lazy-ass rehashed effort on the most part. -_-

  • the sound is so....awesome XD

i only played the ds remake

  • STUPID GHOST:

    CAST:

Ice 3, Fire 3, Bolt 3, Break 2, Death must cast mute/silence to stop the spells.

  • the ds music sounds much better, although this has a touch of warmth to it.

  • Final fantasy 3 and Super mario bros 3 they are a best videogames of NES

  • Mega Man 2 & 3, Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Kickle Cubicle, The Legend of Zelda, RC Pro Am, Super Mario Bros. 2, Bionic Commando, Double Dragon, even Bible Adventures (a fun game actually)

  • Nice!

  • FFIII has one of the most diverse soundtracks. Too bad the Main Theme of Final Fantasy is only heard once as the Opening Theme. Even so, the arrangement of it in FFIII is different than the other versions. 5/5

  • What the heck am I saying? This easily beats Dancing Mad and One Winged Angel! Both are admittedly great songs, but they're definitely no Crystal Tower!

  • I don't see how this beats Dancing Mad, but it sure beats One Winged Angel

  • Personal opinion really, dancing mad isnt that great. Truthfuly neither is one winged angel. The best final boss theme goes to the untrue final boss of FFX Jecht since the final aeon you cant die against it. Jecht has an epic theme.

  • Yeah, it's personal opinion. I do think that Dancing Mad is the best final boss theme, though, and I found Otherworld to be one of the worst. It didn't feel like a final boss theme.

  • what about the music when you're fighting Yu Yevon? that was epic.

  • I'm not a fan of FFX, but I've to agree on that.

  • And the final boss theme in FFIII is any better?

  • @6xdandangp

Uh... yeah... MUCH better! Dancing mad is just lengthy boring bullshit. the FF3 final battle theme kicks ass! It actually gets catchy at one point.

  • I found the entirety of Dancing Mad to be catchy, FF3's final boss theme only gets catchy at a certain point. I liked III's regular boss theme more than its final boss theme.

  • @6xdandangp

I found none of it catchy whatsoever.

  • No need to repeat yourself on that...

  • @6xdandangp

Not to mention that FF3's final boss theme is 35 seconds long, as opposed to Dancing Mad, which is 10 minutes long...

  • Your opinion is just that. YOUR opinion. In mine, Dancing Mad is great but the battles in Dissidia are too short to enjoy it. in 6 the final battle has 4 forms. So they cut out the parts for the first three forms and just left Kefka's final form theme for Dissidia.

  • best of the Famicom Trilogy

  • IMO, best of FF. But thats just me.

  • Old school, eh? Nice. :3

  • Thanks for posting this. I've been looking all over youtube for this version of the crystal tower theme.
