When I told my mother that I want to go to Japan - Tokyo - to further my music (piano) education, she said that nobody goes to Japan for music.. They would go there to study multimedia of something like that. There are no real japanese musicians.
After watching this clip, I'd thought out loud: "who said that there are no Japanese musicians who play the piano" and looked at my mother with an accusive and disdainful expression.

@Tiff20910 Hi. Great performance! I'm trying to learn jazz piano improvisation. In regards to the quick licks you did can you advise me on how to do this (what notes to play). I take it that it's a knowledge of chords, transitions, fifths and the jazz/blues scale. But can you give me something to go on for this particular song? Anything that can help? Thanks.
