@MrDday47 the crowd you see in the video is just because of the video quality.  I was actually at an Islanders game recently and the crowd got pretty loud every time they scored

@MrDday47 the islanders got so much more fans now, every game now it has like 9,674 out of 10,000 usually and now 3-1 have potential this year

@baseballkidmw2 Actually the coliseum has 16,250 seats and as of this season the average attendance is 12,614 (77.7%) which is the third-lowest in the NHL. I'm an Islanders fan and I hate to admit it but they don't have many fans. If they did their proposal for a new rink wouldn't have been rejected time after time. I was at the isles-penguins game on 12/10 and the rink only looked 3/4 full, and that included the penguins fans.

I feel so bad for tavares... He's making great money but what a shame that he's playing for a joke of a team like the islanders. Look at that crowd... Pitiful. The atlanta thrashers have a bigger crowd than that.

MacTavish destroyed him in edmonton. No matter what shremp did I remember MacT always hated him. All goes back to in the charity shootout when shremp made all those fancy moves and all MacT could say was "He won't be doing that in a game"

Honestly, stupid decision for the Oilers to give this guy up. He could have been an amazing second or third line player and its a shame to see hime leave. Bad choice oil.
