Yeah I can hear his boost lag at the end of the video where he was doing a full throttle acceleration on the street. I have a MR2 also so I know. Mine lags quite often and when it does, double clutching helps eliminate boost lag.

MR2 are not expensive to insured. I got a "91" MR2 turbo T-tops and with full coverage and it's only $55/month. Liability is only $38/month. It might be your bad driving record that could effect your rates.

I got a rhd mr2 turbo about a year ago. And it was my first car. But drove my moms auto car here and there before.

My suggestion is to get get comfortable with an auto car first then jump to manual. Cuz getting accustomed with rhd, manual and getting the hang of driving is alot to take on.

But daaaamn is it fun to drive

Mid-engine cars have a totally different feel in handling and if you push it too hard and don't know how to control it, you're either going to be hurt, dead or kill someone. 91-92 models are prone to massive oversteer and there are articles written about people crashing their MR2's cause they can't handle the oversteer. Not to mention, they're expensive to insure and parts, oem and aftermarket are pricey as well. I regret having one as my first car.

Ok, so you are parting yours? Is there any difference between that exhaust and the dual on Ebay? As they have both separate mufflers as well for the exact same price (shipping included). I am just inquiring, so don't take what I just said to offense. I am just wondering, as I see Berk Technology is the best you can get, although on Ebay, the design is absolutely the same, and I have only known Berk to have that design. Plus $350 isn't your normal price for an Ebay muffler, so I am asking.

I'm not parting out. I'm sure the build quality on the Berk is much better than the ebay one. I think a lot of the ebay ones are not symmetrical either. Go to the berk website and take a look at the exhaust.

Stupid question; at 0:31, what is that grinding noise? My 85 300zx Turbo started making that noise at full boost (only does ti when its been running for a while, and only under full boost).

Is there a difference between ats's dp and berk's dp? Berk's dp looks kinda sorry looking compared to ats's. But im a bit worried that my berk dp will leak.  What kind of stoker are you running? Whats been rebuilt?

It's the ats tdo6 kit (which has an external waste gate, much like the L2). I'm running 17psi daily. Those rods will be able to take anything that you can throw at them!
