Fuck this movie!!! I hated the hell out of this movie. It wasn't scary, the 3D bugged the hell out of me, and it was just plain unwatchable. There wasn't a single good thing about this movie. I rented this movie and I couldn't watch it in 2D because there wasn't an option to watch it in 3D. If there was, it must have been hidden because I couldn't find it.

GARBAGE!! The storyline & dates DO NOT match up. I knew better to watch it after i saw the commercial, but my roommate was like, "Let's give it a chance." And it looked actually scary in the trailers. The 3D effects were good, but the justice it did for "The Final Destination" were much better, I think. Overall, it is not original, and really no homage payed to the original. F13- 2009 wasn't much better. What a real horror movie needs to do is show in the trailers all the best stuff to make it look good, and back it all up during its relase.  No shittiness. Mke the diologe believable. Its hard, but someone has to break some new ground.

I got this dvd for laughs, curious to see if the 3d actually worked. It came with 4 pairs of glasses. I watched it in 3d first as a lark and damn if it didn't work. I couldn't watch more than 10 minutes of it in 2d afterwords. No, the acting isn't going to be nominated for any academy awards and the story is nothing new or unexpected, but the 3d makes it worthwhile to watch.

This movie "intentionaly" played up to the camp factor. If you missed that you clearly missed the point. The original is cheesy, this remake was purposefully trying to recapture that. I had so much fun seeing this in theaters I raved about it for weeks. Everytime a horror movie comes out people expect it to be rose mary's baby or the 6th sense. Slasher flicks are a different breed, you watch these movies to give your faculties a rest not to try and figure it out. What's to figure out :P

This was a rip off of Friday the Thirteenth, which was a rip off of the michael myers movie(forget what its called) which was a rip off of another horror movie, and then it goes down the line. It was no "Saving Private Ryan" or anything, but it is enjoyable at least. I say 4 out of 5 stars and a high matinae.
