This tutorial is gorgeous and it totally made me realize how much I need some of those poppy pale blue colors! Although if people are looking for some colors similar to those used from the Calypso minerals pallete, try Lime Crime makeup! They have a color called Troubadour very much like that, that is super highly pigmented! <3

Your Calypso stacker (which I know you are of no affiliation with [I watched you video about the scandal and loved it.]) looks a lot like my Bella Terra Mineral Shadow rainbow stackerr. No jokee.! Probably not the most creative compliment, but I just felt the urge to say that I think you have a good handle on what flatters your face. You have one of those faces that can pull off a lot of different looks and I think it's so fantastic that you love to play with it. :) I bought the translucent mattifying powder from MAC yesterday on your recommendation and I LOVE IT!!! It's very interesting that you put that on your video about calypso. I attempted to order from her in October from her website and never got my order. I got a lot of "excuses" as to why the order never arrived and supposedly there were replacements being sent out. I never got them and had to dispute the order through paypal. I got a full refund from them. Thank god for paypal. I recommend everyone who is looking for mineral makeup to order from ORGLAMIX as I just did. Waaay happy with her stuff!

If you spent $25 you got $88 worth of extras. including a makeup bag, 2 eyeshadow quads, a 5-6 piece (can't recall) brush set, a full size mascara, a lipstick, a folding pocket mirror, a trial size nail polish, a black/white eyeliner pencil, a light/dark pink lip liner pencil, a light/dark pink lip gloss duo, and a blusher compact.

-I'd recommend something like that. Watch, they might do it again in the fall or maybe next spring?

Maybe someone can help me with this topic. I dont like wearing lipstick alot because for some reason after a while i get this funky crusty ring on my lip near the opening of the mouth. What can I do to prevent this?

You may be applying too much, It would be the product. I know I never use long-wear lipstick because this can happen. I also remove-reapply lipstick every 1.5-2 hours, It just feels icky after a while.

Just curious, whats the point of using both UDPP and NYX jumbo pencil? Wouldnt the eyeshadow stick just as well with the NYX pencil alone?

The NYX Jumbo Pencil always creases on me unless I use a primer underneath because I have oily eyelids. I use the UDPP to prevent Creasing, and the NYX Pencil to makes my shadows more vibrant.

I did this eye makeup today using my 88 palette and my nyx pencils for a base. I went into Mac and Sephora for a few supplies and I got so many compliments I couldn't keep track. I loved that I used a palette that was less than one Mac eyeshadow and the makeup artists had no idea. This is my new favorite look. :D

I'd try a slightly shimmery mocha if you're deep or even a rose gold if you're more medium/deep. If all else fails, try using a face powder a shade lighter than your skin tone.
