  • @jland904 hey man how are you?

anything I can do for you? Maybe I said something wrong but this video has helped some people. peace

  • Please use subtitles or dont speed up the vid, i cant understand half of it.

  • talk slower....what if you dont have the disk??

  • does this work on windows 7 ?

  • @Nuudles112 Yes it does, as microsoft send me a 64-bit installation disk, and a 32-bit installation disk with only one key inside the 32-bit disks package.

  • Just goes ta show ya brother' they really aren't techs, they sit there and look at a book to answer your questions with answers that particular company wants them to give, they may as well be robots

  • Toshiba is the same way, the assholes just want you to buy another computer, anytime you try to get assistance on an upgrade or tweak you do yourself for free they will not help you, they just say"toshiba dosnt recommend it" well I'm here to tell ya, if my computer says it can do the tweak or upgrade I say " timeforgear does recommend it"! Cudos to all who research outside the bounderies these techsupport assholes try to establish!

  • I have a second video on the sort of thing. I needed sony drivers for the 64-bit windows 7, sony told me they did not exist. I later downloaded them from sony,

  • @timeforgear um i upgraded my toshiba a215-s4697 to windows 7 pro x84 from vista basic and need help finding a mass storage controller driver any help is welcome(no hurry it just causes the occasional blue screen every 2-3 days)

  • cooool

  • what about your WIFI drivers?

  • Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection worked.

I did not have to do any installation.

I would urge you to check if your wireless card is supported before trying this

(if it works with vista 32-bit, chances are it will).

You might find when on first boot you will have to install other drivers (such as display) in windows update or with your device manager before getting full resolution.

Be sure to check your computer manufacturers website for driver's if you're not confident.

  • im lucky, my laptop is new and according to acer all the drivers are 64x compatible :)

the reson i want to upgrade is becuse i have 4 gb ram built in and of course the maximum is 4gb, but mmy video gobbles up 1.2gb of it so i only have 2.9gb, oh and apparently the performance is amazing downloadin 64x vista iso image now :)

  • apparently a tweaker from

winvistaclub can enable 4 GB of ram through PAE.

Although I have not tested it, it might be worth it to try before rebooting to install ;-).

Also, be sure you're installing an ISO that has service pack 2 slip-streamed.

with this you will get speed and stability similar, if not better than windows 7 RC.

  • this better work???
