Buying this game depends on what you like:

If you liked the giant waves of enemies that attacked you and the realism of the originals, then don't buy it.

If you like a little space in between battles, bosses, larger movesets and super-transformations, then yes.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME... ITS CRAP I have been playing DW games since DW2 and they are not meeting expectations. Get Sengoku Basera 3 instead as it is so much better and most importantly more fun. Im so dissapointed in this game that unless DW7 gets a review of 7,8,9,10/10 im done with Koei games. After 10hours of gameplay i hated this game. What a waist of my money.

Music sounds already worse, gameplay looks shocking, it's only being released on the PS3, you have some sort of Power Ranger armour, you can't fight armies anymore, but you can fight dragons, running still looks as bad as it always did. Dear god, this game looks absolutely TERRIBAD!

Gameplay, if anything, has been improved with actual quests and material gathering for creation of weapons and other equipable items and an actual inventory you can carry your usable items in. You still fight armies, just less enemies at once, due to PSP hardware constrictions. Also, the game's out for PSP, PS3 and Xbox360.

I love the fact that with each new DW game they have to change the story lines more and more and make it more of a fantasy / magic series . Now we have giant death tigers and Lu Bu is some sort of crazy all powerful magic God. I think they should remake a more realistic DW based more on the actual legends. Make it more realistic but still have the crazy 500 officers killed to one warrior style gameplay.

I love dynasty warriors and have done for years. I read all the negative comments but said screw that and got it anyway. WOOPS...it was fun for a bit sure, but after a while i could not ignor how crap it realy is. I would normaly play a DW game for at least 200 hours befor i was over it and by then a new one had come out then i would buy that. After 48 hours of Strikforce i had had a gut full.

Trust me, I bought it today, if you fight a bunch of sorcerors they will rape you withj magic and floating. The gameplay is like a chinese movie plus dbz. And landing hits that actually deal damage to flying enemies is hell. Also lasers on the walls.

Its a decent game though. BTW Gan Ning goes super saiyan when he transforms.

You guys act like using one guy to take on an entire army is so realistic too... Koei has had six solid series of DW. This is basically like a "test run" To see how people like this game. Shit if this game doesn't go to well then maybe they wont make a strike force 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, but some people might actual enjoy this more than the other DW if their into mythology and folklore.
