Okay, I've just watched this clip and I think Barbara Walters has a major issue with Marcia Cross. I don't know if she's jealous because of her good looks, but there is definitely some tension of a passive-aggressive nature.

I can't imagine losing someone I pledged my love to then she left "Melrose Place" in 1997 to finish her Master's Degree in Psychology. She returned to acting that same year and eventually ended on "Everwood" then left to join the cast of "Desperate Housewives." Barbara wanted a scandal. Hag.
