  • I guess I never have the dream of having crease on my eyelid

  • Uhggggghhhh that is so scary

  • Does this need stitches? If so, when you remove the stitches, does it hurt? And how many stitches will you need ?

  • One running stitch is used. NO it does not hurt upon removal. As a matter of fact the majority of my patients state that the entire process is extremely easy for them.

  • In all videos, I see Drs just cutting the eyelid, how do you take the measurements of the parts that u cutting?

  • I take 3 separate measurements: first, with the patient sitting up I measure the eyelid crease (normal line on the eyelid) . I then, tease the skin forward looking for the redundant skin and mark this. Second. before freezing the eyelid I gently pinch the skin making sure only the skin necessary is removed. Third, this is repeated prior to any skin removal.

  • The laser can be used instead of a scalpel blade for this purpose.

  • like asian people have surgery to get double folded eyelids from single folded ones, can it be possible to make double folds into single ones?

  • Most patients respond that they have no pain after surgery. The majority of healing occurs within one week. The procedure is performed in an accredited operating room with an anesthesiologist and thus is pain free.

  • does it hurt after the surgery? and how long it takes to heal??.... it looks painful

    thank you (:

  • Both lasers have excellent results and effectiveness for skin and fat excision and contouring.

  • Hi mbleph, thank you very much for this video.

You have mentioned that you also use the Coherent laser for the same procedure. In your opinion, how do the two lasers compare to each other?

If it is Ok with you, can you please let us know the settings you have used on the Mixto laser for performing this blepharoplasty.

    Thank you in advance.

  • @iceskater1 It's just a little removal of skin and fat. It's not even that bad compared to many surgeries that are necessary to continue health. This one may be just for appearance for many people, but it's pretty safe and fast. The results can be quite amazing too. Many people are fine with their appearance, but many are not. Try not to judge too harshly. :>P This world is very shallow.

  • what is holding her eye closed- can you do this by just being made num - i'm not one for going to sleep

  • I only perform this surgery in my certified operating room with a board certified anesthesiologist. Your comfort and safety are my main concerns. I make sure that you feel no pain through out the procedure.

  • @mbleph did u seelp??maybe its bad for ur eyes..

  • OMG! Why do people do it????

  • Why do people put on makeup, fix their hair... etc: to look prettier

  • People have the procedure so that they can look younger and more refreshed. Many times it is performed to help them improve their vision.

  • Now that was the best way and safest way, I've seen so far. Very cool thanks for giving making this video.I will concider this option.

  • what is this surgery for?

  • The surgery is to remove the excess skin from the upper eyelids that makes us look older or block our vision. On the lower eyelids the procedure removes the "bags" that make us look tired.

  • Is this a sugery for people with Ptosis?

  • Ptosis is a drooping of the eyelid from the levator muscle weakening or slipping. I t can be performed with or without blepharoplasty.

  • I only perform this procedure in my certified operating room with a board certified anesthesiologist. Sterility and your comfort and safety are very important to me. You feel no pain when I perform this procedure. some doctors perform this in a "regular" examining room. They cannot guarantee these things in that environment.

  • Hello Im going to do the lower eyelid surgery soon and I have a question do you feel any pain during the surgery?? thanks

  • you dont feel pain during the surgery but you might afterwards if you dont take pain meds

  • Beautiful piece of skin.

  • If the doctor take much more fat from inside of the eye by uncontrolling laser for a while, what damages can be occured? It seems more practically and less scar on the skin , but doctor must be so attention. And doesnt the laser kill the cell by burning? I am wondering.thank you

  • omg what is the thing that coming out from the eye lid?

  • Fat.

  • does it burn

  • No the procedure is performed under local anesthesia. There is no pain.

  • thnx i was wonderin

  • hi (mbleph)do you have the information how much does it cost? to save some money I'm 29 years old do you think i need it? in may 29 years old of existence? thanks, bye

  • Wait till you in mid 20's. Then decide whether have it or not.

  • Yes most will not need this procedure until later in life.

  • Is this a co2 laser or an erbiumYAG laser?

  • This is the Mixto CO2 laser. I also use Coherent's laser for the same procedure.

  • CO2
