i have this same cage ! kind of.. mines a little bigger and has a metal bottom. i also bought a bigger wheel and i have two platforms. so actually mines alaot bigger, but its the same thing

In Germany our cages are much bigger, minimun size is 1 meter long, we uses cork,wood and other roots and no plastic.this is more close to nature. By the way there is no bedding in your cage where the hamster is able to dig long tunnels.

I have the same cage and I made a third floor for it. And of course, my cage is the other way around. House on the left, wheel on the right and I also changed the wheel. I had to do quite some changes, but all in all, it's a great cage.

mine is a teddy bear hamster and he has a big bald spot on his back now.

i dunno how it pulled his hair out but it did, check if there is hair matted into the middle of the wheel to see if the same has happened to yours
