  • I UNDERSTAND YOUR MESSAGE...MUCH RESPECT!...THE MAGAZINE WAS TALKING ABOUT ARTS,CULTURE,EDUCATION-(COLLAGE),HEALTH CARE & TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTIONS!...BUT THAT'S THE PROBLEM,THEY DIDN'T SURVEY CITY FROM A OPPRESSION,POVERTY,AND LOW INCOME NIEGHBORHOOD STAND POINT!!!...THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN!...TO THE THERE JOB PROPERLY!...KEEP IT UP!

  • Another great musical manifestation- respect!

  • I agree thier are two Pittsburgs. One for the well to do whitey and his oreo pet ad for the poor. But its like that evrywhere the well off dont want the poor to have a voice. The majority of the poor in Pittsburg is black people.

  • sanfrancisco the second most liveable city? sanfrancisco is expensive as hell and thier is sooo much povert their especially with the black folks who live there. Dont belive me? Go the the tenderloin. Most fucked up ghetto I ever seen. Winos on everycorner, piss trash, and feces on the sidewalks. hundreds of homeless everywhere. Most liveable if your a well to white person or a oreo in the white click. them well off whitey done lost theri mind

  • IM from Philadelphia, and i feel this message!!! dam we need more rappers like this..Wonder whu radios dont play this type of music?????

  • Sorry, I use to think Pgh was nothin til I moved down south! You cant get.nothin down south...I accomplished more in Pittsburgh than any other state Ive lived. Truth is I dont care what city u live in, jus outside the nicer areas, their always a slim area...thats any city!

  • Real talk!

  • Just saw this on GlobalRev. This is some beautiful, true shit. Thank you, Jasirix.

  • excellent. music. words. great.

  • I live in Pittsburgh. Where can I find you on facebook?

  • As usual, should not have read the comments.

  • I spent most of my life in Pittsburgh, including working and living in some of the neighborhoods referred to in the song. The level of overt racism and segregation for a major metropolitan area in 21st century America was absurd.

  • @cuppie27 What you fail to see is that there are people who do Care about their neighborhood and work hard. people do care and try to raise the neighborhood. but there are a few who bring all the crime and filth into the neighborhood and ruin it for everyone. the people who actually try and do stuff get no help from city governments or anything and its incredibly frustrating.

  • @cuppie27 The dollars value has decreased significantly since your grandfather arrived in this country. Jobs like manufacturing don't exist on the scale that they did back in your grandfathers time. Cites now have to care for a much bigger population than existed in your grandfathers day and with less money. Your grandfather existed in a time before union busting and major corporate person-hood. Your grandfather didn't exist in a time where education status played a huge role in jobs.

  • Whats good about this, is its not about money, women and clubs. There is a message not just showing off.

  • Just a white dude from Y-town that isnt really all that into rap or hip hop, but I can say you have some skill dude. Not over the top and actual talent, stay true to your roots and you will go far without a doubt...

  • why dont blacks build a black city? oh yeah there is detroit .

  • Fly Revolutionary Hustler !!! Live outside the Matrix infowars.com

  • Someone go edit Wikipedia's Pittsburgh page - ZERO mention of this. Instead, fancy-shmancy promotion and tourism. Sad... so Pittsburgh is worse than NOLA.

  • This is hot, the flow is impeccable, the message is on point. Good job done.

  • ASA dear brother, Where and how can I get the CD?

  • I'm brazilian... shiiit, i used to think that the US was the best place to live! The American Dream, no poverty, good schools... i never tought the US could be fucked up

but fo real, maybe it's because i'm so used to watchin REALLY bad shit, that the part with the man holdin the ak was nothing to me... anyway, i like your lyrics and I'mma subscribe homie

    good luck

  • Clips-burgh, Pistol-vania! I'm diggin' this! Real truth...

  • Pittsburgh is a very racist city, but the hot dogs are good.

  • This happened because white people moved away. How strange of them to build a city and then just move because it didn't feel like home anymore. My question is who tore up all the buildings and added all the crime.Thats probably why the white people who built it moved away. Graffiti and fire plus a general feeling of being unsafe in your own neighborhood. This whole world might be hell and it might be a good idea to start fixing up the place.Start with honesty. Why not just paint it and move on?

  • Do you mean "these poor *underserved* communities"?

  • Great song and makes the point really well. I would like to see a response from Forbes...

  • What if the teaparty was black, LOVED IT!

  • Wow, just wow. Its worse than Philadelphia.

  • Actually it is mostly white people's fault. Seriously think about it.

  • yeah, it's the white people's fault. *rolls eyes*

and after this song was done, they all went to selling drugs to other brothers.

    fuckouttahere.

  • @mike7743

You're right, it's not white people's fault. The rise and fall of America is the result of rich, WHITE men. Need I remind you that white women were also considered "property" until 1920 in the US.

  • Loving this. Great to get a chance to share ideas and collaborate!

  • Well done. Nice video. Nice recording. Looking forward to more.

  • Im from Homewood and im 25 and thats one of the reasons why I live in New York City area now! There no opertunities in da Burgh. Excellent Video. PITTSBURGHS VERSION OF PUBLIC ENEMY

  • This video is definetly the truth about The Real Pittsburgh. Huge Shout Out to Jasiri X and Paradise for keeping the truth about black Pittsburgh. I just read in The New Pittsburgh Courier headlines "City of Pittsburgh Violent Crimes down, Stats don't look good for Black Males" That headline is an Oxymoron - Just like Pittsburgh, being "Americas' Most Livable City"

  • In an age where lyrics from the pop culture fall so short of meaning, it is refreshing and very welcoming when some young guy comes alone and sings about things worth listening to.

  • Well sung... well done.

  • A lot of cities looks like that. They really said Pittsburg is the most liveable city. Another hot track from Jasiri X.

I'm sure your no-nonsense approach is sending crooked officials through the roof.

    JasiriX --->proceed to DO YOU.

    xoxo
