Things to get for properly enjoying this album: some quality mushrooms, a cd copy (for sound quality), a surround sound system (it was all recorded for surround sound), a full day off with nothing to do, and a special lady to take the ride with you.

@OpiatesAndTits How can electronic music be "RECORDED" in surround? It can only be MIXED in surround and I don't think you can even fit that much information on a CD for surround.

@shizueleven Separate (non-?)virtual channels for each surround channel would be how electronic music can be recorded in surround. A lot of electronic instruments have the benefit of being 'In The Box', so routing isn't limited by physical constraints, but still count as "RECORDED". Also, in the mixing stage, pushing mid and high-range frequencies to the hard left and/or right lets Dolby Pro Logic work it's magic, so yes, a well mixed CD could certainly be appropriate for surround sound systems.

I wish they hadn't cut out the intro/outro, but I know there're time requirements on youtube, so it is forgiven.

This is still my favorite album to come out in the 21st century, and this is one of the best tracks. Considering how accessible this song is, it's amazing to realize that it's mostly in 18/8, a very unusual time signature, with some 4/4 mixed in. I love how it smoothly transitions from an entirely electronic soundscape to a mellow, jazzy electronic fusion section at the end :)
