If I ever go digging for relics. I'de most likely take weapons and such. But I'de put a stick or a log upwards and place the helmet on it, same for tags. I think no matter what side the soldier was on, they deserve at least that much respect.

Hee, gave video man! Die vondsten en vooral die helmen zijn echt ongeloofelijk.. Hoe krijg je het voormekaar zoveel helmen te vinden! En die met die SS en swatsika erop dat gaat echt te ver xD Maar hoe komt het dat je niet meer video's gepost hebt? Lijkt me dat je wel een paar zeer goede zoekplekken kent. Niet meer gezocht of niks meer gevonden? Ik heb zelf ook een aantal video's gepost. Paar goede vondsten gedaan zoals een K98, gasmaskerbus, panzerfaustbuis, maar nog nooit een helm.. Groetjes.

Dan kijken of er bossen in de buurt zijn.

@BONEZx232 that looks more like a harness ring. the one that you slide to make it bigger or smaller. it it was a grenade pin then it would have a loop at the top and a straight piece of metal for american. the german grenades or potato mashers were set off by a peice of string that came out of the bottom. to get to this string you needed to unscrew a cap on the bottom of the handel. the string would then fal out.

The hürtgen forrest is in Germany near Aachen.

It's close to the border of Holland, where i live:-P

That at 4:43 is a little alluminium box with poison pills, i found it on a battlefield.

Ik dacht eerst dat ik nooit een helm zou vinden maar gewoon door blijven zoeken en je zal er vast een vinden succes!!. Je moet in duitsland polen en dat soort landen zoeken. En ik heb je vondsten bekeken erg mooi maar ik vind ook regelmatig bommen pas daar mee op!! Ik heb eens een bom door midden geklieft met mijn schep dat had fataal kunnen aflopen. @tilapia94 Jah soms is dat ook zo. bijvoorbeeld stukjes van de soldaat zelf ik heb wel eens een bot gevonden dat versplinterd was. maar er kunnen ook andere dingen bij liggen bijv een gasmaskerblik of andere persoonlijke spulletjes zoals speltjes enz. Het is een erg leuke hobby!! Gr Nick
