Everything you have mentioned are terrible occurrences that breed fear in a population. The news channels generally "run the same shit over and over" in the form of "SHOOTING", "ABDUCTION", "SOLDIERS DEAD" and my personal favorite "TERRORISM". What is the harm in running a piece of fluff about a worldwide phenomenon like this? If anything it should serve as a distraction from the terrible world American news channels want us to think we live in.
