That's lovely. As always, a great testament of how these wonderful dogs fit in to our lifes. I hope many more people will see that greyhounds do make lovely pets and that they contact their local rescue centre. I feel that no greyhound is recued until they are in their forever homes.
ask a good greyhound trainer[not the big trainers].they'll know what dogs are best suited for you and that way you can watch them race b4 you adopt or you may save one that wont make it that far.you can also inspect the facilities and make sure they're treated well.they are the perfect dog even better when they're fast,i have 3.
I hope everyone gets a loving home. They are such charismatic dogs that bond very tightly to their families. A friend of mine rescues them he has 4 now and I have never met one that wasn't friendly. Great dogs.
