I remember mid 1980s and early 1990s were the best years - Alan Tam & Leslie Cheung almost dominated the Hong Kong music industry at the time. I was only about 13 years at that time and I remember I was listening to their tapes over and over again and that's when I started learning some Cantonese too. Great memories and miss those old days!
