Scott, up to 2 wk ago I had never herd of the Elephant's Toenail knife. Keep this mind, I was working under the idea that I had used all pattern type of pocket knives and could say what each one was designed for. which bring me to my question have you ever cutting anything with one ? I am wondering if you use it as a chopper or a push through or as a slicer ? the hight of the blade should make the blade stiff enough to chop, But I am not sure if the pivot pin would be bigger in one of these.
now i'm not a big knife collector but i do like knives. i happened to be flipping through a knife book and this one caught my eye and instantly loved it and thought this here is a knife. like Crocodille Dundee -thats not a knife, This Is A Knife-
One more thign Scott...After looking around a bit, I foudn a very cool tonail you migth be interested in...search 280280306371 on ebay, thats the item number, I always loved david yellowhorses work on Buck and Case knives, and this is a very cool looking collaberation between case and David...the secondary blade has the appearence if a flibntknapped blade, just plain cool! I hope you see this message before the auction is over and are able to bid and win! Good Luck!
Very nice video Scott! Your gettign off easy having a specific interest, haha, I wish I could stick to one pattern, that might make my "want list" a heck of alot shorter, hahaha...I really enjoyed the video!
That knife I show is a WR Case & Sons Cutlery Co. of Bradford, PA. It is a Case XX Greenbone. One sold about a week ago on ebay...search "sunfish" or "elephant toenail" if you ever want to find any there.
Great review, personally I wasn't aware of this knife at all but I'm glad I saw the video. Who is the maker of that particular toenail knife you showed in the video? Thanks and I look forward to seeing many more great reviews on your channel.

Thanks SFS11. Yes, it is a knife. Good solid feel too. Great camping or outdoor knife.

Hey bud. Good video. Very informative. Does anyone still make a decent production elephant toenail? Certainly looks like a hard use knife.
