An entertaining video, but not informative in the least. At worst it is unfaithful to your reference on two counts. First, you imply that mankind evolved from beasts, which your source book does not suggest. Second, you misquote the source by saying, "God saw that it was good". Upon verification your source will confirm instead that: "God saw that it was VERY good." (emphasis added by me). We will have difficulty determining ANY meaning of life if we believe we evolved from beasts.
I personally am an atheist, but I know many Christians who believe that this video more accurately represents how we came to be rather than the creationist view. Any intelligent person in this day and age must accept evolution and the age of the earth. Personally, I think this actually makes the idea of god look much more credible, and, in fact much grander than 6 days creation. What was god's rush, anyway? He had all the time in the world.
The believe in GOD created our Universe has a limiting factor that we will not progress. since HE made the universe in a way that changes take place continuously, HE should have anticipated that human, and all living things, too will change. Because we had to give a name to ideas, items, and everything we come across, we called that changes in lifeforms "Evolution". Some human wanted to have control over other human, or they wanted not to share the benefits, they created the idea of GOD...
Want to see the Garden of Eden? Look at my videos. I found it. Its located in the North West section of Iran. This is no joke. I really did find it. Look at my videos and see for yourself!
the story of creation is false you can't have the earth made before the sun that alone should tell u this story is false
how can god make the sun on the 4th day when the sun is the head of the solar system without the sun 1st u can't have planets not the other way around
were was the earth orbiting if there was no sun before the 4th day this story is false just like when they believe the earth was flat...how can grass, fruits, herbs be made on the 3rd day then the sun on the 4th day
Well, as a space engineer, I don't really appreciate the plot or the fact somebody can hand something like this in as a final project on a college-taught subject (you see, our final projects are somewhat more complex). What I am pondering is: how much of the footage is actually original material? If a lot, then you sure have future as an animator - good job!
Fantastic collage on possibilities of our beginnings. I notice you had 3 of the world's religions featured at the end but not Christianity (unless the dove was the symbolism of the Holy Ghost). You don't want to go where Angels fear to tread?
@MaraTrumbo Christianity is represented. I thought the more obvious image was the Catholic Priest toward the end of the video. I tried my best to represent every religion that I could. This was based on what video footage i had at the time. As I look back at the video, I really can not help but think that this is not so much a video about creation as it is a statement of human cooperation, peace, finding commonalities among the various different cultures and to simply love each other.
@kentuckysal I think you got the point of the video. The Hebrew text does not describe the earth as flat by the way.
2) You neglect to mention that the tree was in a dream. Who was actually speaking?
3) Jesus wasn't "viewing" the whole earth. The devil was "showing" Him these kingdoms, implying a "vision" versus actually seeing them. Comparing the same story in Luke 4:5, it happened "in a moment of time." He would not have been able to see all the kingdoms of the world unless it were a vision.
Revelations also says a one-world government will establish a monetary system that will prohibit buying and selling unless you agree to worship the false god that will be in charge.
North American Union, European Union, African Union, Asian Union...the leader of China suggesting a single currency.
Never before in history could all this be happening. You may want to laugh about what you think is unexplainable in the Bible, but our history and future is in there.
The difference being none of these unions have suggested that the earth population needs to worship a false god for currency exchange. The union of nations is diplomatic solutions to divisions between nations, there is NO way you can convince anyone with a sense of good and evil that uniting nations can possibly be a bad thing.
Well, they haven't yet. Right now, the timing is not right. But, the foundations are being laid to establish a single world religion. You probably have not noticed. It's not the kind of thing that people pay attention to unless they are looking.
While "uniting" nations might seem a means to Utopia, destroying national sovreignty in favor of a world leader will not get it done.
These unions are not being forged in an effort to gain peace. It is for gaining power over the people.
Well they aren't going to. The majority of these nations are secular. Religion has next to nothing to do with government in most developed countries. Also, in no way does unity imply dictatorship. Destroying national sovreignty? You prefer to have seperate nations vying for power than to have humaninty united to the common cause of reducing hunger, suffering and war?
Can you show me an example of a modern alliance of nations trying to lay the foundations of false god worship?
Religion is very important in modern government. Why would they be working so hard to destroy it if they did not consider it a threat?
There will still be countries at war. There will still be seperate countries. But, their rights to act as sovreigns will be taken away. That's what the EU is all about. "You can be a country, but you must play by our rules."
97% of the world's wealth is owned by 3% of the people. They could feed, clothe and house everyone on the planet if they wanted.
The people at the top don't want people fed. They don't want peace. They say they do, but war is big business. And, business drives governments. And, banks own the businesses.
It' about ruling the world. You are not an evil person, so it makes no sense to you. But, all of this trouble in the world is not an accident.
Governments aren't working hard to destroy religion (at least none of the governments I am familiar with). Most major western powers are chiefly secular and therefore do not consider 'destroying religion' in their policies.
The EU isn't all about "being a country playing by our rules", its about strategic alliance. The EU is all about the collective saftey of the countries therein. The changes of currency and policy are simply additional steps toward unity.
I agree. With the North American Union already accomplished by Bush and the soon to be European Union as well as the Asian Union, the world will come under one rule, one law, one religion and one power.
Imagine. I didn't notice an e-mail regarding your reply. I apologize.
Rev 13:7,8,15. A world leader will arise and "legally" kill Christians around the world. He will demand that he is worshipped as God.
Verses 16,17. The world monetary system is in place.
Rev 14:9,10. When this world leader who has mocked God and demanded worship is destroyed, those who worshipped him will be destroyed also. To be in the system you must declare that this leader is God. If not, you die.

ReverendTFunk - I wouldn't bother with any conversations outside the comment area personally. Everyone is still waiting for you to say something remotely connected with reality. I mean, i don't read hitchikers guide to the galaxy and quote passages from that to you do i.... lol
ReverendTFunk, That's it quote some bible at me. That will do it. You know, i always have to laugh when a bible thumper does that. Now, kindly take a look at "schrödinger's cat" before you claim that our observations don't cause anything. Or just get an education in general, you bitch enough about humanity, maybe learning something might allow you to help people rather than armchair judge them.
Schroedinger's cat is an attempt at a reductio ad absurdam to demonstrate how ridiculous applying quantum theory on the macroscale. I seem to recall Scroedinger himself didn't take it seriously.
Basically, observations cause an effect on the quantum level, partially since you have to interfere with the system to make any observation, and your result is thus affected by it. Observation is indistinct from interference at that level, and doesn't really imply a conscious observer.
thelyniezian - Hi, obviously the conversation is a lot deeper than we can service in a small comment area. But my main thrust was that particles can exist in more than one place at the same time and that it only our observation that forces the particle to take on a state at any given moment, or at least our observation plays a part in it. So when i was replying to the previous comment of "our observations don't cause anything" it was just more of a gripe than any attempt at seriously explaining.
This only really amounts to time as far as I am aware, and that only according to Einsteinian relativity (which is still only really a useful approximation on large scales). It might be interesting to know what EInstein mean by "reality"- probably meaning what we percieve to be the case, rather than the underlying physics.
That has the appearance of gnosticism, which cannot be right. There re some scientific models suggesting we are some sort of holoraphic image of a higher-dimensional space, but I don't think they are definitively proven. I rather count physical reality as being real, but there is more to reality than that.
By the way, thank you for your comment. And to answer your question, I do not think my video is a good source for finding accurate information for the creation of everything. It is just a creative work done for an electronics media class. However, I do retell the story of creation in a sort of sudo-science based on various religious teachings.
I feel that the Bible has been edited and not properly translated by mankind, therefore it is not the word of God as God intended it to be.Everything that mankind touches mankind corrupts.
More often then not this seems to be true. But truth has its way to pierce through despite our misguided and selfish ways. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate your discussion and opinions.
Not sure what are you asking or should I say what specifically the question is in reference to. Are you talking about the video or are you talking about the notion that there are two creation stories in Genesis? Which, I would argue that there is not two creation stories in Genesis but a horrible mistranslation and misinterpretation.
In one man and woman are created at the same time, and the other eve is created out of adams rib. Also the order of the creation of other creatures in one Adam is alone and other creatures are created to keep him company and the other . The other creatures are created first and then Adam. Thanks for your reply.
There is seemingly two creation stories but I have made the argument that each story is part of a single whole that has been misunderstood. The Zohar, an ancient Jewish text explains this in beautiful detail.

Isaiah 40:22 says the earth is a CIRCLE.
Daniel 4:10-11a tree that is as tall as the heavens
can be seen from everywhere on the earth
Matthew 4:8 has Jesus viewing the whole earth from a tall mountain.

Daniel, Matthew, and Revelation all require a flat earth.
Well, either flat or bowl-shaped.

Why are there two creation stories?
