i have that one i also have empire strikes back soundtrack and two others one is just a record story called the adventures of Luke Skywalker and another soundtrack.
(cont.) I just bought six albums yesterday, all in decent condition for about $15 at Half Price Books. and C. It's a unique and fun experience compared to today's music i.e. Album art, putting the record on the turntable, starting the rotation, putting the needle down, watching a record spin. I love vinyl. It is one of my new passions.
Finally got my turntable and I've collected a little over 20 albums with everything from Kiss to Genesis to even a little Classical thrown in the mix. Gotta love Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata. Vinyl is in many ways superior to CD's and MP3's. A. It sounds more organic. There's a certain warmth and charm to hearing audible hissing and popping. I'm not kidding. B. They're considerably cheaper if you know where to shop for them. (cont.)
The sound is surprisingly amazing!! Seems indistinguishable from some of the more modern forms of listening to music. Some audiophiles even prefer LPs to any other types of music recordings. My cousin has this record and we listened to this album, and two comedy albums (Bob and Doug McKenzie and Bill Cosby) one weekend when my family was visiting his. He's lucky enough to even have a record player. I personally want one for Pink Floyd and Beatles albums.
Vinyl is slightly better quality than CD so as long as you have a decent turntable and a clean record you wont be able to hear a difference. Vinyl has already out lived 8 track tapes, cassetes and it is about to outlive CD
we played this in my middle school band. It was pretty awsome, but it had a whole bunch of stuff in it, about a 6 minute long peice, with the Cantina song and other star wars classics in it.
I have the same Record as you.

Brings back memories of when the original Star Wars was the greatest film ever made. Then the sequels came along and a nation wept.
