@alex97ro Prismacolor for just about everything. Take a look at some of my comments below, I posted some links and other info about materials plus where to find them
@GetPatriotized Right so take the chalk and shave the sides into powder using Xacto blade. For application use something called Webril pads. If you can't find those at your local art store try tissues or some kind of cotton ball, yes. Whatever works best but The Webril pads are great- they're like expensive thick toilet paper. Also for chalk don't use oil pastels use chalk or prisma color sticks. hope that helps
nice, i love drawing cars myself, but when i get to the coloring part, i mess up the drawing, any advice when using only colored pencils or crayons lol, i'm not that heavy into drawing, but i draw at random times, so i don't have pastels.
@KLINGY94 Yes I know the feeling. It's tough but using the right media helps a lot. Once you get into the chalk it will REALLY give you that effect you're looking for. Post or send me some pics of what you have so far and I can take a look and maybe give some advice. Email me through my website thanks
@indestructibleJonel Not at first but when you're all done you'll want to get something called "workable fixative" and spray a couple layers on. It's clear and will just protect the art and give it a little gloss. It comes in a white spray can.
@Czajnikowiec No problem- They exact name and brand that I use is Prismacolor NuPastel Hard Pastels. It's like hard, skinny chalk sticks. Then you get a blade and shave the sides to get powder. Don't get the soft pastels. They are more popular but that's not what you want. Here's a link to Amazon just type amazon . com and then:
hey dude, you ilustrate great, congratulations, but your drawing sketches are very poor, you must to do an concept draw course or something like that, but i like what you do, congratolations one last time and greetings from argentina!!!

are you erasing marker? or is that pastel?
cdm1179 1 year ago
@cdm1179 Erasing the chalk/pastel you got it. Make sure it's the right kind of chalk though you don't want to use fine art pastels.
pumthuggee 1 year ago
@cdm1179 Ps- here's the right type to use: Prismacolor NuPastel Hard Pastels. It's like hard, skinny chalk sticks

that white paint is called "Gouache." It's thick but you water it down 50% and it gets real smooth.
